Joining the trip from Taitung was a great choice for a relaxing holiday. We visited several iconic spots in the valley with breathtaking views of the rice fields and mountains. The guide was very friendly and introduced us to some amazing local delicacies. The van was comfortable, making the whole journey stress-free and enjoyable. Perfect for anyone looking to enjoy Taitung's scenery without the hassle of planning!

Great 4.0
This was a fairly basic trampoline park. if you're from America, you might be underwhelmed. But it's large, clean, and the employees were nice. It was almost.wmoty when. we were there so the kids could run around all they want. We bought our voucher on site and saved a couple dollars. No need to purchase in advance.

Since you can ride on the bike path rather than a scooter, this route is better if you're going to Bo'er. However, if you're traveling about 10 kilometers, the battery will only have about 30-40% left, so you should swap it out before entering Cijin Island.

It's really worth the while to join this tour as we covered all the important locations in Kaohsiung. Our guide, Woody, was kind enough to take our photos and let us discover each place at our own pace with ample time to cover all areas in the itinerary. The ride was also comfortable. Definitely enjoyable but not in a hurried manner.

The stairs leading up to Moon World are under construction, so you can only go part of the way. It seems to be lit up at night, so I think it would be even more impressive if you came then. Afterward, the tour takes you to the Folk Culture Village and Qishan Old Street, and finally drops you off in Kaohsiung's Bay Area. This was a great tour because it covered a route I couldn't have done on my own. Our guide arranged a Lei Cha (pounded tea) experience for us at the Folk Culture Village, which was a wonderful experience. In the Bay Area, they also showed us where SunnyHills is located. The guide provides a lot of information, but while walking, it's more of a self-guided experience, so I think it's more enjoyable if you do some research beforehand.

It was a full and enriching day tour. The guide/driver arrived on time at the pick-up location and drove very safely and steadily. The Harry Potter exhibition hall in the Ten Drum Cultural Park was excellent, and the approximately 40-minute drum performance is not to be missed. Luckily, the weather was great that day, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the salt fields. The last stop was Dadong Night Market, where everyone could eat their fill before heading back.

100/100 will promote this tour!! Don’t just see the shiny side of Hong Kong, come and see the ‘dark side’ too and learn how the grassroot people live. Summer is AMAZING as a tour guide, sharing so much for us to learn and also answering all our questions. ◡̈ even though it was raining halfway through the tour, she still keep up her bright spirit and made the tour so interesting! thanks so much Summer!

What to know before visiting Kaohsiung

Quick snapshot of Kaohsiung’s travel rhythm

Kaohsiung draws most bookings for theme parks, events and shows, plus museums and family-friendly attractions such as playgrounds and zoos/aquariums. Demand on Klook rises and falls through the year, with a clear busy period around the end of the year and much quieter late summer.

Best times to visit and what to expect on prices

Klook booking data shows December as the busiest month and August as the quietest, so December offers the peak-season atmosphere while August and September see far smaller crowds. Prices move independently at times: they’re typically lowest around October and then climb to a peak in June, so the most affordable months for activities tend to be in autumn, while late spring to early summer can be pricier. If you want lower prices and fewer people, aim for October through September’s quieter stretch; if you want the lively, peak-season feel, plan for December.

Tips for travellers from Singapore

Most travellers from Singapore book about two weeks in advance on average, though Klook shows last-minute bookings are possible up to around three days before activities. For trips during December’s busy period, plan and lock in must-do experiences earlier; for an easy, spontaneous weekend away outside the peak months, you can comfortably book closer to departure. Use Klook to compare timed tickets and family-friendly options for theme parks and events to streamline planning.
