Hakone Shrine tours

We enjoyed the trip very well. although the weather is not good on that day, raining day can’t see Fuji san, but overall experience is good. walking in the rain, super fresh air, very kind tour guide. we booked the tour with cable car ride included, unfortunately, it close due to the bad weather, they refunded the cable car ticket through the Klook, received in 2 days. very good trip and will recommend to friends.

Such an amazing, high value tour- would highly recommend! Our tour guide, Jack, was enthusiastic, warm, friendly and incredibly helpful, and made sure the entire day ran smoothly without any bumps whatsoever. He anticipated the group’s needs and readily provided directions to rest rooms, convenience stores during lunch time, and the direction of each sight and the optimal locations for photos before the question even came up in the best way! The tour was interactive, moved quickly without feeling rushed at all, and had a great variety of activities from hiking Hakone Shrine and the Torii gate in the water, riding a colorful pirate ship through beautiful Lake Ashi, soaring the skies in a cable car towards Owakudani to view an active volcano up close (safely of course!), tasting fresh Mt. Fuji water at a world heritage site, and feeding swarms of beautiful and friendly swans with Mt. Fuji in the distance, this was a wonderful experience with a knowledgeable and warm guide. 10/10.

Compared with going by yourself, it is more suitable for a one-day tour, saving you the trouble of transportation, and the meeting place is not difficult to find ~ fully recommended

We chose the day tour of Hakone, we got picked up from Tokyo and were dropped at our accommodation at Hakone after the day of touring. During the tour we saw lots of great sights, ropeway, cruise, open air museum. Sam our driver was great, easy communication via WhatsApp helped for drop and pick ups. It was nice working to our own time frame enjoying each activity for as long as we chose. Ended up booking another days trip for Mount Fuji

This trip was very worth it. Yui was such a great tour guide. she explained very well and provided a lot of information in the locations and made sure we were all safe. Fuji-san made sure we get to see him even though it was raining throughout the trip. Don’t forget to try the ice cream in Lake Kawaguchi! it’s soooooo delicious. unfortunately, Mt Fuji san was already hiding when we went to the famous lawson place. overall a worth it trip!

Yuki our tour guide was excellent. She was on time at the meeting point and even contacted us via Whatsapp for the instructions. She was polite, knowledgeable, friendly and able to assist well. I would recommend her services anytime. The trip went well. The driver was not quite polite though and was inconsiderate for request to have a toilet break along the way.

We had a very kind Chinese tourguide named Zhao and with a party of around 6 people we drove around in a mini van. The driver was very kind and tried his best to talk English with us and confirm all the steps in our interary. When we were late once, he waited on us and told us it was not a problem. In general the activities were going as planned with some small delays because of traffic. We highly recommend this trip, it was great 🤗 It can be a bit of a culture shock if you arrive in the hotel though because you get a very traditional Japanese meal and the room is also in traditional style. You would have to adjust a bit but it's a great opportunity to truly learn the culture of Japan.

Highly recommended, during booking I gave my weChat ID. On the night before the tour, driver added me on weChat. Thankfully I can speak Chinese so it was easy for me to communicate with the driver. At Japan Time 7:40AM i arrived at the meeting point, our tour van departed punctually at 8am from Tokyo Station to pickup the rest at the next meeting point. Traffic was bad 3 hours journey, so driver swapped the itinerary around and took us to Hakone Shrine first, we reached at Japan Time 11:10am and didnt have time to queue and take photo with the iconic shrine so i took from the side instead. Then we assembled at 12noon JST & driver drove us to the place where we could buy tickets and board the pirate ship hakone sightseeing cruise+ ropeway cable car (own cost) For those who are not interested to take it, stay in the car and driver will bring you to Lake Ashi and later Owakudani. Tried the legendary Owakudani eggs. So from my pirate ship, cable car, owakudani area we had 2.5 hours to ourselves. The next timing was Japan Time 2:30PM at the tour van to depart for the next Gotemba premium outlet, we reached around 3.45/4pm JST. then we had 1 hour to shop, before another traffic jam back to Tokyo, by the time we arrive it was already close to 8pm JST. Cost savings wise it was cheaper to take this tour than to DIY and train there yourself, however i think if time allows, should stay at Mt Fuji area for 1-2 nights so it wouldnt be so rush.
