Things to do in Osaka

This combo from Klook—Universal Studios Japan with timed entry to Super Nintendo World plus the Have Fun in Kansai Pass—was absolutely worth it. We saved a lot by booking them together, and securing a timed entry slot for Nintendo World made a huge difference. USJ is massive and very crowded, but we still had an amazing time exploring the park. Even though we didn’t get to ride many attractions, just being there and experiencing the themed areas was already enjoyable. Next time, we’ll definitely come earlier to maximize the day. We didn’t originally plan on getting the Have Fun in Kansai Pass, but since it was included, we gave it a try—and it turned out to be super worth it too. We visited Harukas 300, enjoyed a one-day unlimited Keihan Rail Pass, and had fun on the Dotonbori River Cruise. Overall, it added so much value to our trip. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back—especially now that we have a multiple-entry visa!

I used the Osaka Amazing Pass and was generally satisfied, but I felt it's a pass where the experience can vary greatly depending on how you use it. I found it hard to wake up in the mornings, so I couldn't utilize it as much as I had planned, which was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, I believe it's still worth the cost even if you only use it for a few attractions. The pass offers access to quite a variety of facilities, including tourist spots like Osaka Castle, Umeda Sky Building, cruises, and Ferris wheels. If you plan your itinerary well, you can use it very efficiently. My original plan included Osaka Castle, the Umeda Sky Building, the HEP Five Ferris Wheel, and a cruise. Please note that the HEP Five Ferris Wheel is available for use from late April onwards, so it's good to check this when planning your schedule. There are two types of cruises: the Wonder Cruise and the River Cruise, both located near Dotonbori. The Wonder Cruise was relatively convenient as you could book it in advance and just show your pass when boarding. The River Cruise, however, requires on-site booking, so it's important to go early in the morning to make a reservation. I felt it's best to move a bit earlier if you want to use it at your preferred time slot. Overall, I realized that to make the most of the Osaka Amazing Pass, it's crucial to start your day early. Popular attractions can have long waiting times or become difficult to access as the day progresses, so planning your route carefully is also necessary. If you have a relaxed schedule or are not an early riser like me, you might not utilize it as much as you expect, but I still think it's a satisfying package even if you only visit a few places.

the express pass is a definite NEED for USJ in my opinion. there is so much to try and explore, a 1 day pass might not even be enough to complete all the rides in USJ. maybe getting a pass 7 isn’t the best idea either as we found ourselves barely having any time to grab a snack or venture around the area. unfortunately, my experience in USJ was not the best as it was raining the entire day on 15 april, the bad weathed led to 2 of the most exciting rides being closed down (minecart madness & the flying dinosaur). the staff in USJ compensated us with 2 express tickets each that we could use on selected rides. additionally, some of the queuing systems in the USJ rides can be confusing, after entering the express pass lane, the queue will be merged into 1 big queue with the rest of the part visitors that do not have an express pass. i feel that, it was quite confusing and unfair for people who have paid extra for express passess. overall, i feel that getting an express pass is worth it.

There was a long line inside the building before entering the escalator that takes you to the actual observatory tower. But the wait was totally worth it. There are so many points to capture great photos-from the escalator to the first floor of the tower and to the top. The view is breathtaking, especially at night time with all the bright city lights below. It’s amazing to see Osaka from another perspective. If you want to purchase the engraved heart locks, buy them here on this app because they won’t sell it to you in person. Must be online. I would also recommend going on a clear day. I booked this months in advance and was lucky that it was the only clear day of the rainy week. We went to a different observatory in Tokyo on a cloudy night and couldn’t see a thing.

really cool place if you like history, inside has lots to see and learn but be ready to walk a lot lol view at the top is sooo nice tho, worth going and tickets on klook were smooth no issues at all, cherry blossoms were so nice

soo much fun, ready comfortable seats good music and was very easy to find by putting the address into google maps. The meeting area is lit up with blue lights and has signage with “naniwa”. highly recommend!!
