Our guide May Ei was fantastic. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable despite visiting the market on a very busy weekend. she was knowledgeable, passionate and caring. we tried so many delicious dishes and May Ei helped us find things we would not have know to try. she also showed us around the temple which was a truly fascinating experience- she was so knowledgeable and passionate about sharing her culture and history. we would recommend her tour to anyone. thank you May Ei.

Mr. Vaness was an excellent tour guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive to the group throughout the trip. He shared interesting stories and historical backgrounds for each attraction, which helped me better understand Taiwan's history, culture, and traditions, and made each stop even more meaningful. He was also very organized and patient, always giving us ample time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the sights at our own pace, without ever feeling rushed. Thanks to his guidance, the entire journey was smooth, informative, and very enjoyable. Our tour guide was very friendly and took the time to answer our questions. Given the busy nature of the market and bringing through a small group, it’s impossible for a guide to stop with everyone to make purchases. I did appreciate explanations of certain foods and the history of the market. However, with most vendors having English menus or really good signage, you can certainly do this market on your own. Maybe watch a couple of YouTube videos in advance to get yourself familiarized with the market.
