was late, the guide was kind enough to pick us up at our hotel, we apologized to other tour joiners, the experience was great! it would be better if it was not raining tho. would definitely book again if time permits.
If you’re a first-time visitor to Taiwan, I highly recommend the Classic Taipei Landmarks Day Tour. This tour offers a well-organized and comprehensive introduction to some of Taipei’s most iconic sites, making it an excellent choice for travelers wanting to explore the city efficiently. Pro Tip: Arrive at least 15 minutes early. The tour company organizes multiple tours from the same meeting spot, so pay close attention as they call out the tour names to ensure you’re joining the correct one. Our guide, James, was absolutely fantastic. His depth of knowledge and passion for sharing Taipei’s rich history and culture were evident throughout the day. While it was initially a bit challenging that James had to switch between English and Japanese to accommodate the Japanese tourists in our group, I was impressed by his seamless bilingual communication skills. It’s not an easy task, and he managed it with grace and professionalism. The itinerary was well-structured, allowing us to see a variety of beautiful and historic sites without feeling rushed. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, giving us a great sense of Taipei’s charm and cultural heritage. Overall, this tour is a must for anyone visiting Taipei, especially for the first time. It’s a hassle-free and enriching way to experience the city’s highlights.
lovely day to enjoy taipei main city. small group of 6 to 7 pax. if you are not a fan of do it yourself this is something good to do, it will give you a glimpse of Taipei in a whole day!
Our group was composed of seven persons (from four countries) and all of us had a great time and fun. It was very educational, tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommended
joy was very energetic and knowledgeable. it was a very informative tour that covered all the major tour spots that could not have been seen without a guide and van.
We highly recommend this tour and with Kevin as tour guide (under Edson Tours). Kevin was knowledgeable, accommodating and very attentive to all of us. We are inspired by his informative sharing (NOT boring!) and dedication to teach/guide us. We understand Taiwan and its history because of him 💙
Loved the tour, the guide was great, and it was a good tour for people like us who only have a few days in taipei
This one-day tour is very cost-effective. We visited almost all the famous attractions in Taipei. The schedule was quite tight and we were very careful to prepare umbrellas. The tour guide Yuki was very professional, very humorous and nice. In addition to introducing the attractions, he also introduced Taiwan's history and culture and the stories behind the attractions. This is the best tour guide I have ever seen!
Thank you very much, David! There were only 5 of us in the tour using a van. The tour felt very personal and nice. Recommended! 😍
James did an excellent job. I had a lot of fun seeing new things and meeting great people. Even with the rain, the 101 was amazing
