I would like to commend on how organized this tour had been from the very start. From the email confirmation from the operator when I booked, the reminder and detailed itinerary sent via txt few days before the tour date and the flow of the tour itself. Our driver/guide Kuya Tata just made it extra by being so prompt, knowledgeable and made sure we were safe and able to enjoy the places in the itinerary fully. We truly appreciate that. This tour highlights plenty of important and famous places in Davao City. Highly recommended!

Kuya Tins helped us a lot and definetly gave us the best assistance for us to enjoy our trip. He gave also bits of trivia about the city while we travel from one site to another. The itinerary was not hectic, so we really enjoyed each site.

Kuya Jhon was super friendly and kind he helped us with photos with important information as well as communicating as and when required. He helped us with currency exchange and since we were vegetarians he took us to options suitable for us

Red Planet Davao nails the sweet spot between affordability, location, and comfort, making it an ideal choice for couples looking for a hassle-free base during their Davao vacation. Situated right along J.P. Laurel Avenue in Bajada, its location is unbeatable. Having Abreeza Mall directly across the street makes spontaneous dinner dates, movie nights, or quick coffee runs effortless without having to deal with long commutes or heavy traffic.
While the rooms are compact, they are impeccably clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed to maximize space. Couples will appreciate the essentials that truly matter after a long day of exploring the city or island hopping in nearby Samal: a remarkably comfortable queen-sized bed, strong air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a high-pressure shower with reliable hot water. The blackout blinds also guarantee a peaceful night’s rest.

This stay has been our 2nd in this hotel. We checked in late in the evening and the restaurant was 20 minutes away from closing but still the restaurant staff graciously served us delicious food. We are grateful for their service. We highly recommend this hotel for families with children. The room is huge, not your ordinary room size, clean, comfortable and close to malls, restaurants and airport. Thank you to Acacia Hotel for the warm hospitality.

The food at the hotel was delicious, with a great variety of dishes. Breakfast was complete and satisfying, with different options to choose from. meals were well-prepared, flavorful, and provided a good selection to suit different preferences. The hotel has a very convenient and accessible location. It is very near Bankerohan Market with many restaurants and food establishments just a short distance away. It is also close to People’s Park and the mall, making it easy to explore the city and access everything you need. Overall, the location is one of the best things about staying at this hotel.
The hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and has a pleasant, fresh fragrance throughout the property. The staff and crew are very accommodating, friendly, and always willing to assist with every request. Every request was attended to promptly, with immediate action taken to ensure our needs were met. The excellent service and accommodating staff truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

My stay in this hotel is good. They provided the basic necessities, good bed, good sheets and linens, basic toiletries. They also provides glass and water dispenser outside the room. aside from that, it is conveniently located near Mcdonalds and Jollibee, watson’s, mercury drugs. Some problems encountered were only 1 elevator is functioning, and its a bit slow. bath towels were really old, easily damaged and were darkened in color.

The room was big and AC was in good condition. There was coffee and mugs but no drinking water and electric kettle provided. Pool was a bit dirty too. Room and CR is wide. I love the big mirrors as well. Overall experience was great. Sulit ang bayad dito. Great location as well. Will surely recommend this place.

What to know before visiting Davao
What to expect in Davao
Davao’s Klook bookings are led by water activities and guided tours, so the city suits travellers who enjoy outdoor sea-based fun and organised sightseeing. Demand rises and falls through the year, with a clear busiest period in July and quieter spells around March.
Best times to visit and price patterns
Klook booking data show July as the peak month for demand and March as a trough. Prices on Klook drift modestly through the year: they’re typically lowest in November and highest in December, with November about a dozen percent cheaper than the priciest month. If you want smaller crowds and lower prices, aim for November or the quieter months like March and May; for peak-season atmosphere, plan for July when activity bookings are heaviest. Overall, prices and demand only partly move together here—July is busiest without being the absolute priciest month, while December is the priciest though not the single busiest month.
Tips for travellers from the Philippines
Most travellers from the Philippines book a few days ahead for Davao experiences, with typical bookings made around four days in advance and last-minute options still possible about two days out. If your trip falls in July, consider locking in popular water activities earlier (around the early-booking window) to secure your spot; for off-peak months you can be more flexible and book closer to your travel dates. Use Klook to compare available water activities and tours and book when you see an option that fits your schedule.
