We had so much fun learning how to make fresh udon, tempura and onigiri. From kneading the dough for 5 minutes (you need strong hands!) then cutting it, to dipping the vegetables in the batter, grating fresh ginger and filling sweet tofu pockets with the best tasting sushi rice was an experience we won’t forget. Although my udon turned out too thin it still tasted good! Our local guide Josh was so helpful and knowledgeable giving us tips along the way and where to buy some of the ingredients. We ended up with a lot of food. This was a fantastic experience and we got to keep the recipes. Make sure you go on an empty tummy!

warning. Don't eat before hand!! We had a great time making udon noodles from scratch, frying tempura veggies and shrimp and making fried tofu rice bally things i can't remember what they were called. Guide was amazing. JOSH had lived in America for years working so his English was amazing and he helped us navigate the izakaya restaurant well would highly recommend. we had a great time
