Tamsui Old Street hot springs

We purchased the 1.5-hour hot spring experience from Klook, which required us to call the hotel to reserve a time slot. We made the reservation the day before, and the earliest available slot was at 6:30 PM. When we arrived, we were 20 minutes early. The reception staff registered us and asked us to wait for the room to be prepared. At around 6:19 PM, the reception brought us to our room and explained how to use the amenities and provided instructions for the hot spring experience. They kindly gave us an extra 11 minutes, allowing us to stay until 8:00 PM. Although the room did not have any windows, the experience was still enjoyable and affordable, making it a great option to try out the hot springs in Beitou without breaking the

Return visit after two years. As far as I recall, everything is the same except the baths do look two years older and the cold bath is no longer as cold. It used to be ~10 degrees (iirc) but it is now (estimated) 20-25 degrees (the thermometer has been removed). If you like being alone, I was the only customer past 6pm on a weekday. For the price, it is worth coming here for your first hot spring experience in Beitou but I’ll probably try a new hot spring for my next visit in the future. Good experience (:

had a lovely time at the hotel/spa soaking in the hot spring water. the attending forgot we had a high tea ticket as well but rectified it immediately after we brought it up nicely. time was just enough. loved the face mask and freebies. short walk from the train station.

I visited around 4 PM on August 24th and wasn't sure how to get there after arriving at Xinbeitou MRT station. I called the front desk for directions, and after calling three or four times to confirm, the two young ladies at the front desk were so helpful! They were very patient and answered all my questions with a gentle tone. When I arrived, they explained everything even more thoroughly. It truly made me feel that the hotel staff is highly professional! The hotel lobby and hot spring facilities are also maintained very clean and comfortable! From the initial phone inquiry to the on-site registration, use, and departure, the entire experience was pleasant and well worth the trip! I highly recommend it! I also hope everyone will take good care of the facilities so that this excellent hot spring hotel can continue to operate sustainably! (The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the hot spring were fantastic.) Thank you to the front desk staff that day! I hope your excellent service is recognized by the company, rewarded, and used as a foundation for training other employees.

Radium Kagaya Onsen in Beitou, Taipei, offers a luxurious and serene onsen experience. The facilities are pristine, featuring high-quality radium-rich water known for its therapeutic benefits. The service is good and the peaceful ambiance makes it a perfect escape for relaxation.

The Klook deal was wonderful, worth it and booking was so easy. The place on a Thursday morning (11-12pm) wasn’t too crowded. The staff was very helpful though we didn’t speak Mandarin. They provided towels & shower caps for hair. Went to the public baths. Everyone has the same so everyone was ok naked. There are 3 tubs. Cold (near door), warm ( with jacuzzi spray) and hot. There is a sauna and a steam room (dark & hard to see anything). Everything is clean. The sulphur water is milky. I was aching from a sprained leg muscle. The waters helped ease the pain and I believe my recovery was speeded up thanks to the spa. The lounge to relax after the baths is pleasant. There’s also a blood pressure machine to check yourself too! The 2nd floor restaurant serves great food. The seafood porridge for two can serve 3 and is good value apart from tasty.Woukd love to return.

Beitou is different from before. The hot spring pools are no longer ordinary bathtubs with jets. The water pressure is strong enough, and the hot water is hot enough. The only drawback is the placement of the faucet, shower head, and hot spring outlet within the seating area of the tub, making it impossible to shower and soak at the same time.
