Alternatively, if you prefer a larger resting area, you should choose a room with an outside window, even though the pool might be smaller.

Booking the 90-minute hot spring private room experience at Kagaya through Klook was quite good overall. The hot spring room was clean and tidy, with a Japanese-style elegant design that immediately put me at ease. The hot spring water was warm and comfortable, and after soaking, my body felt noticeably relaxed, providing excellent relief from accumulated daily fatigue. The staff were friendly and explained the process clearly, which made the overall experience even smoother. However, the afternoon tea was a bit simple, consisting of basic items. Both the portion size and sophistication were somewhat lacking, which felt a little underwhelming compared to the high-quality hot spring experience. If the afternoon tea could be elevated, for example, by adding some unique desserts or improving the presentation, the overall satisfaction would be even higher. Overall, the quality of the hot spring room itself and its relaxing effect are highly recommended. It's a great choice for a short, rejuvenating escape.

Et besøg i Beitou Water House for en privat badeoplevelse var et af de mest afslappende højdepunkter på vores tur til Taipei. The facility was very good. The hot spring was also very pleasant. It wasn't like those strong sulfur springs where all your belongings smell like the hot spring when you get home; it was just right. The access from the station and other tourist spots is also good, so I recommend it if you're visiting Taipei. However, I imagine it's similar at most hot springs, but regulars seem to dominate the space. I was warned for not wearing a shower cap (which isn't customary in Japan), while they were eating food they brought into the bathing area. I want to respect local rules, so if shower caps are mandatory, I would appreciate it if that were clearly stated. If eating and drinking are also permitted, removing the 'no eating/drinking' signs would prevent me from feeling confused.

The hotel is located downtown and offers parking. The room was clean and odor-free. The hot spring faucet had low water pressure, so it took about half an hour to fill the tub, but the soak itself was very comfortable. The hallway was decorated with many attractive ornaments.

I made a last-minute reservation the day before, but it was easy to use, which was great. If you show your voucher, they'll guide you right away. If you're not using it immediately, it would be good to ask if you can do it at your preferred time first. I thought the front desk staff would tell me the available times, but they immediately assigned a time, which led to a slight communication breakdown. It's not hard to find from the station, and there's a Hot Spring Museum and Geothermal Valley right nearby, so you can also do some sightseeing. I highly recommend it!
