Things to do in New Taipei

The entire tour was smooth and fun. We’re really grateful for our tour guide, Libby, who never missed on giving us the necessary information and clear instructions before we could reach our next destination. They’re very particular with the schedule though and we completely understand since it’s a holiday and that’s why we’re also thankful for Libby for the constant reminder of the time. All the sceneries were worth seeing. It began to rain hard in Jiufen though so it was very foggy but we were still able to visit the tea house (it was closed though). Just an FYI that many well-known shops are closed and they close early (before 4pm) during CNY’s eve so manage your expectations when you travel during this time of the year. Overall, Libby gave us so much convenience during the tour. She’s a really great guide.

We had a great lantern experience in Shifen and booked through Happy Lantern. The photos and videos taken by the staff were amazing, we loved every single one of them. They really knew how to capture the best moments. We also appreciated that they let us be the ones to release the lantern ourselves, which made the experience even more special and meaningful. Highly recommended!

This Klook experience is one for the books! Unforgettable is an understatement, but let's settle it to "core memory-worthy". Our tour guide, York Hsieh, is a cut above the rest! He is the master of his craft: very good English speaker, nice humor, recommended must-buy and try, strict on time but understanding as well (My nephew got to sing inside the bus to make up for being late, haha!). York made the trip really enjoyable and fun; try everything he suggests, you won't regret it! He is the best! Book this tour package now because it is worth every dollar! easy to redeem tickets, go straight to the line and the staff will just scan your ticket . worth the trip , very nice view of the waterfalls and the mountains. escape the busy city with this trip to Wulai. highly recommended.

Although there's a queue to get in, the staff will contact you by phone so you don't have to line up! It's not too crowded inside, so the quality of the fun is maintained. It's a lot of fun, and my kid says they want to come again next week!

A trip to High 5 Amusement Park is definitely worth it! The park offers a wide variety of attractions, from thrilling roller coasters to family-friendly rides, making it perfect for visitors of all ages. The environment is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful, which makes you feel secure. The dining options are also good and reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed their themed shows – the atmosphere was lively and fun. The only minor drawback is that it can get crowded on weekends, and you may have to wait in line for some of the more popular rides. However, overall, the experience was very enjoyable, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and have some thrills!

Taiwan can get quite chilly in the winter, and it's so nice to soak in a hot spring when you're traveling and feeling cold. The scenery is beautiful too. They were considerate enough to let us in 10 minutes early because we had kids, and up to two children can enter for free (height restrictions apply).

Amazing view of the resort on top of the mountain, was mesmerized how it was constructed and the view going to the top, seeing the water falls & lots of trees. Truly an amazing experience. Cable car ride was also smooth, it can accomodate how many persons per ride and yet feels safe. They also have boat ride that can try for 30minutes.

This is my third time visiting Wulai for hot springs! The hot spring rooms at Pause Landis all have interesting themes. This time it's a hot pot theme, making you feel like Tang Sanzang about to be cooked 😆. Soaking in the semi-outdoor hot spring is very comfortable, with a gentle breeze - highly recommended!
