- Park Introduction -
New Taipei Wulai Yun Hsien Resort Wulai is located about 27 kilometers southeast of Taipei City, and is the only mountainous township in Taipei County. The entire area is covered with lush trees, flowing clear water, and surrounded by mountains. The source at the top of the famous Wulai Waterfall is even more picturesque with lakes and mountains, ancient trees reaching to the sky, misty clouds in the forest, and butterflies, cicadas, and birdsong, like a paradise on earth. However, this beautiful scenery was inaccessible to tourists due to the cliffs of the Nanshi River. Thus, a cable car construction plan was initiated to fully present the original natural landscape to the public. Because of its natural beauty, with different charms in spring, summer, autumn, and winter, it resembles a fairyland, hence the name “Yun Hsien Resort.” Yun Hsien Hotel is located by Yun Hsien Lake, featuring antique architecture. The Chlorophyll Cafe on the first floor is a leisure spot for tea and coffee. The second floor offers Chinese dining. The third, fourth, and fifth floors are guest rooms. About a three-minute walk from the hotel, there is also the Sakura Forest Villa with window views.
