Water level was quite high the day we went so it was pretty fun but also very tiring as we had to fight the strong water flow when moving to the sides of the river (with or without our tubes) to wait for other members of the group. Location was quite remote so would need a long drive / ride to get there from Luodong city. However, the views made up for it and the instructors really looked out for safety. Photos could be better (better still if they could film some videos too) and sunblock + insect repellant are a must! Overall a fun and memorable experience.

Safety: The instructors were very diligent in ensuring safety. However, the stream near the waterfall was quite rapid, and I almost got swept away 😿. I hope the instructors can pay more attention to this in the future and keep people closer to the shore. Experience: Overall, it was super fun! We got to experience the lazy river, cliff jumping, and see the waterfall. Plus, we got photos, which made it worth the price 😻. The instructors were also very helpful in pointing out where to find the photos 👍🏻. Facilities: The bathrooms were large, had hot water and hair dryers, and there were enough of them, so we didn't have to wait too long 🫶🏻. Instructors: Thank you for your attention to detail and dedication. You made our vacation very enjoyable. Thank you for your hard work! Also, thank you for waiting and calling to remind us that the location was in Nan'ao, we almost went to the wrong place 🫠🫠.

The tour coach was very kind and attentive, taking special care of the children and the elderly. The rafting activity was a lot of fun, and the kids all had a great time. I was particularly surprised by the very spacious showers with plenty of hot water after the tour, and even more so by the availability of hair dryers. The owner was also very kind to give us a ride to a nearby fishing port for dinner.

The actual hiking experience is only about 4 hours due to travel time. It is recommended to depart at 06:00 and return on time at 15:30 to complete the entire itinerary. Due to the remote location, the driver and passengers will coordinate a reasonable stopping time. Here is the actual itinerary and time for the day: 06:00 meeting, 06:11 departure, 07:02 arrival at Yilan Railway Station, 07:38 arrival at the 7-11 at the foot of the mountain for a 10-minute break, 09:41 arrival at the Taiwan Beech Trail, 13:00 meeting, 14:06 arrival at Jiu-Zhi-Ze Hot Spring, 15:05 return trip. Lunch is at your own expense, find time to eat. Parking is not allowed at Jianqing Trail, but you can temporarily park in front of the trail for the convenience of hikers. If you haven't been to Jianqing before and have the above situation, you should communicate with the driver in a timely manner. Jianqing is a truly worthwhile trail to explore. It takes some time to get up the mountain, and passengers who are prone to motion sickness due to the winding roads must take motion sickness medicine. Even if you don't have a habit of motion sickness, you should still bring a bag with you on the mountain for the 02:30~ car ride.

Mr Kent Chang was a great guide who was very helpful and friendly. The entire tour was also planned well. My family, partner, and, I had a great time during the entire tour. However, for the yilan animal kingdom stop, it would be better to visit during the warmer seasons - we were not able to feed the alpacas and other outdoor animals due to the rain.

Very interesting tour. With a small group of 3 and a Taxi as our transportation. Feel like a private tour and very flexible. The itinerary is good and relax. The Beer tour is close and raining so it’s a bit disappointed. The tour guide is good and we have a good day out with lots of shoppings 😊

Driver arrived on time and contacted us before the trip. Will be good if umbrella or bottled water is provided.

The guide was professional and enthusiastically shared hiking experiences and tips, especially regarding the risks of high-altitude mountain climbing, which were explained to us in detail. The pace was adjusted according to the overall condition of the team, and the guide was very principled, which made us feel at ease. I hope to have the opportunity to climb other high mountains together in the future.

It was fun. There were only three of us who applied for the tour, so it automatically became a private tour by car, which was a great bonus. Haha. Our guide, Jerry, explained everything in English in a very fun and engaging way. It was a satisfying trip. Thank you. We toured Yilan's beaches, tried shark meat at a local restaurant, he bought us longan fruit, and on the way to Kavalan Distillery, he bought us Mr. Brown canned coffee made by the Kavalan Group. He even stopped at several stores to find us cold ones. Thank you, Jerry, for taking such good care of us. Next time I come with my parents, I'll definitely do a private tour like this. Oh, and unlike the reviews, Kavalan Distillery now charges per glass for tasting, so it costs quite a bit of money to do a tasting. I recommend just buying the samples instead.
