Do you know what’s a girl’s biggest nightmare? Bumping into someone who’s sporting the same outfit as her — especially at an exclusive event. You’ll likely burn that piece to ashes or you’ll just never wear it ever again. To avoid such embarrassment and rage, do thrift shopping instead! Fast-fashion is too mediocre and real talk here, it’s possible that we share 50% of our wardrobe with someone else.
Now, the reasons to shop at bundles: It’s fun, it’s cheap, aaaaaaand it’s eco-friendly! Especially after the digging and sweating, gosh… that’s like a week worth of cardio! But seriously though, thrift shopping has a much bigger impact than that—it’s impacting the one and only planet earth we live in. It’s comforting to know fashion labels today are exploring more sustainable ways of producing their garments as they’re the second biggest culprit in polluting the earth. So the next time you shop at bundles, remember you’re making a change!
Read on to find out the best bundles in Klang Valley:

Best for Oversized Graphic Tees – Brick & Bundle

Situated on the back street of Melawati, very close to the new Melawati Mall
Brick & Bundle is your destination if you’ve been eyeing on that 90s-inspired crew-neck tee on Topshop’s rack with a tag that reads “RM195.00”. No thank you. You can find many similar silhouettes at Brick & Bundle for, at most, RM20.
A superb shopping environment — one you won’t sweat
Location: No. 316 Lorong Selangor, Jalan Bandar 13, Pusat Bandar Melawati, 53100 Kuala Lumpur.
    They accept: Cash Only

Best for Dresses & Skirts – Vintage Moonriver

If you’re looking for dresses and skirts similar to what your mom wore as a teenager or the ones you see on Little House on the Prairie, you’ll likely find it at Vintage Moonriver. They are languid, feminine, dainty, and best of all, CURRENT. You can wear it on its own or drape over a tee with a knot to toughen it up. Either way, you’ll still be eye-catching.
Most of the goodies at Vintage Moonriver are imported from Japan and they’re in superb condition + Grade A1 quality!
Location: SG08-0 Subang Square Shopping Gallery, Jalan SS15/4G, 47500, Subang Jaya, Selangor.
    They accept: Cash Only

Best for Outerwear – Baden Baden Bundle

You’ll find this huge signage by the main road of Danau Kota, Setapak
The whole gamut of outerwear you can ever come across is available at Baden-Baden Bundle. From leather jackets to denim jackets, parkas to trench coats, bomber jackets to windbreakers, and even to the classic lazy-day hoodies, you’ll find it all at Baden-Baden Bundle. P.S. Free up your entire day just to scavenge for some great stuff here because it’s air-conditioned and they provide spacious fitting rooms for you to try on!
The store is well-organised and they even have homewares for sale
Location: Lot 3 5, 4, Jalan Genting Kelang, Danau Kota, 53300 Kuala Lumpur
    They accept: Cash only

Best for Athleisure – JBR Bundle

It’s slightly on the outskirts of town but so worth the visit
Champion, Fila, Reebok, Puma, Adidas, Nike. If your wardrobe mostly consists of these names, it’s safe to say the must-visit thrift shop for you is JBR Bundle. It’s the home to second-hand athletic wear and you’ll find cute logo tees or “branded” tees that’ll cost you not more than RM20—except for limited edition vintage items. They also have a good selection of track bottoms, track jackets, and sports shoes.
Make sure you don’t go during sunny afternoons ’cause you’ll be drenched in sweat—those rooftops are killer
Location: Taman Kemacahaya, 43200 Cheras 9 Miles, Selangor
    They accept: Cash & Cards

Best for Shoes – Atan Bundle

This bundle store is a bit tricky since there’s no signage to look out for and you’ll likely to drive past it. However, take note that it’s just opposite a Shell petrol station!
On the hunt for a pair of “broken-in” Dr. Martens to spice up your outfit? Atan Bundle might be your next favourite place to look for some cool kicks. They have tons of different styles and cuts of shoes and even if you’re not planning to get one. The team at CLEO highly suggests checking out this peculiar shop that also carries lots of vintage Levi’s jeans.
Check out the wall dedicated to only Dr. Martens
Location: Jalan Reko, Kajang, Malaysia 43500
    They accept: Cash only

THE OG BUNDLE – Family Bundle

There are a few parking spots right at the storefront
We can’t miss out the original bundle that existed long before the rest, can we? Family Bundle is an all-around thrift shop that even sells “junk” like vintage corsets and lingerie. You can totes find RM5 things there but it’s not the most conducive place to shop—it could get a tad overwhelming and suffocating, but in the name of fashion, you gotta just do it, right?
Their men’s section is slightly neater than the women’s
Location: 17, Jalan Wawasan 2/3, Bandar Baru Ampang, 68000 Kuala Lumpur, Selangor
    They accept: Cash only
