Located in the heart of KL right in front of the iconic Bukit Bintang McDonald's outlet, the Bukit Bintang Ramadan Bazaar is hard to miss when you're in the area. While it isn't huge, they have all the classics such as nasi briyani, nasi lemak, roti john, and more. Since it's a crowded area that tends to get congested in the evening, we'd recommend getting here by public transport if you can - the Bukit Bintang Monorail and MRT station is located steps away from the bazaar, making it extremely easy to get to!

    2. TTDI Ramadan Bazaar

Located along Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad, the TTDI Ramadan Bazaar is where you can grab a mouthwatering smoked brisket tacos and pulled lamb tacos, nasi beriani gam, freshly squeezed sugarcane juice, or ikan bakar. On top of that, the cheese wheel mac and cheese that went viral in 2023 is back! Make sure you don't miss out on the popular popiah basah stall that's been around for over 20 years! You might very likely spot the queue before you catch a glimpse of the stall 😉

    3. Taman Melawati Ramadan Bazaar

Occupying a large parking lot, the Taman Melawati Ramadan Bazaar is known as one of the biggest bazaars in Klang Valley. You'll be spoilt for choice with rows and rows of stalls where you can get anything from whole fried chicken to apam balik, roast chicken, char kuey teow, and more. One of our favourite here is the freshly made onde-onde - an explosion of earthy and sweet gula melaka makes for the best dessert! Klook Tip: if you can't find a parking bay by the roadside, simply park at the Melawati Mall and walk over!

    4. Kampung Baru Ramadan Bazaar

Set against a backdrop of the Petronas Twin Towers, the Kampung Baru Ramadan Bazaar is another iconic one in Klang Valley. One of the best sellers here is the bubur lambuk (savoury porridge), comfort food cooked deliciously the traditional way and is bound to make you feel warm inside. If you're looking for something simple and comforting for iftar, a nice bowl of bubur is the way to go!

The Ramadan bazaar in Seksyen 14 is one of the oldest ones around and has served the residents of Petaling Jaya for years despite having to switch locations a few times. The Penang popiah basah stall here gets a long queue and is usually sold out by 5 or 6pm, and other stalls selling seafood bakar, ayam panggang, and roasted lamb are also very popular - the bazaar may be smaller than others in town, but it's definitely packed with good food!

    10. Masjid India Ramadan Bazaar

Up for some delicious Indian-Muslim food for iftar? The Ramadan bazaar in Masjid India is located close to the Masjid India mosque and is known for its mouthwatering Indian-Muslim fare (but they also have all the classic dishes, of course). From tandoori chicken to putu mayam, the place is full of yummy food and will not disappoint you with its vibrant vibe. There's also a covered section and stalls selling clothes, toys, cookies, and more - perfect for Raya shopping!

    11. Putrajaya Ramadan Bazaar

As time continues to trudge forwards, the bazaar in Putrajaya continues to grown in popularity. One of the market's most popular stalls, which at this point is a Putrajaya bazaar staple, serves humongous squid with fried noodles. This Ramadan bazaar also has the usuals: ayam panggang, sup tulang, popiah basah, and stall after stall of cold drinks. If you're planning on getting a full meal here, check out the nasi kerabu, bakso beranak, and Sarawak laksa. Visitors can also find sweet treats like doughnuts and roti kukus oozing with filling!
