THIRTY8 is definitely one of our favourite high tea spots in the city. Located on the 38th floor of Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, this classy space features huge floor-to-ceiling windows, a spacious layout, and ample natural sunlight.
Indulge in a their afternoon tea set that comes with a lovely selection of sweet and savoury treats (from mango pudding to strawberry almond tarts, pistachio éclairs, and homemade dimsum) as well as free-flow coffee and tea.

2. Lobby Lounge, Shangri-La Hotel
Lobby Lounge at Shangri-La Hotel is another popular spot for high tea in KL. While it doesn't offer sky-high city views like in other spots on this list, we love the relaxing ambiance the lounge exudes with its idyllic water garden views, tranquil vibe, soft music, and occasional live band entertainment.
From 20 November to 1 January 2024, Lobby Lounge will be serving their Festive Afternoon Tea. Sample some classic holiday treats like the chocolate yule log, candied orange scones, gingerbread spiced macarons, and many more.

3. Altitude, Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur
Located on the 53rd floor of Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur, Altitude offers a popular Sky Afternoon Tea with amazing views of the city skyline. Tea time delights here include smoked salmon sandwiches, raisin scones, chocolate mousse, lemon meringue tarts, egg truffle sandwiches, and sticky toffee pudding.
What we love about Altitude is how they always roll out fresh and inventive seasonal menus from time to time, their limited-time Sakura Spring Afternoon Tea earlier this year consisted of a specially curated dessert menu served in a dreamy hanami bento box!

4. ARAS Revolving Restaurant, KL Tower
Situated 282m above ground, ARAS Revolving Restaurant is a modern and elegant revolving restaurant located in the iconic KL Tower, offering a magnificent 360-degree view of the entire KL city skyline.

12. The Drawing Room, St. Regis
The Drawing Room at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur is a classy space most known for the impressive giant horse sculpture crafted by the notable Colombian artist Fernando Botero and a 5-tier crystal chandelier that hangs from its ceiling.
