This was a very pleasant experience. The Sushi Master was very good at explaining each step to us and no matter how many questions we asked her, she always responded cordially. This is something worth repeating. My sushi also turned out pretty decent. Our Sushi Master - Raike is superb and fabulous! 🙂

We had a great experience making our chopsticks. The only point with fewer stars is the price. Our booking included one type of wood. If you want one of the other four, you have to pay extra: two pieces for 2000 Yen each, and two more for 4000 Yen each. We found that quite expensive. Otherwise: super nice staff who are very happy to help. Thanks for the great souvenir.

It was a great experience. Fuko was excellent—she explained everything about matcha making and its history. I always thought matcha tasted bitter, but this one was of very high quality and had a smooth, rich flavor.
We prepared traditional matcha without sugar or milk. We also learned that matcha is traditionally served in a chawan (a tea bowl) rather than a cup.
Rating: 10/10. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Osaka!

Fun low stress unquiet activity! this was a well rounded accessible approach to dessert making and the instructor was very sweet. He did a great job trying to communicate with the two english parties present and made plenty of jokes when we made inevitable mistakes. Over all good laugh in a good area.

We had a great time at this cooking class! They were both so friendly, kind and cheerful. We so much enjoyed participating in a tea making ceremony and learning to make sushi and ramen. Plus it was delicious! The calligraphy art we get to take home is a souvenir we will cherish. This will be a highlight from our Japan trip that we won’t forget. If you’re thinking about booking this class, we highly recommend!
