Things to do in Hakone Ropeway

Buying tickets online through Klook saved a lot of time waiting in line. The entire ropeway journey, which takes 30 minutes, passes through the following stations: Togendai Station, Ubako Station, Owakudani Station, and Sounzan Station. With your ticket (QR code), you can stop at each station. It's a single ticket for the whole ride, and each gondola can hold about 15-18 people. Unfortunately, on the return trip, it was crowded, so we had to sit individually, waiting about 1-2 minutes. The gondola offers scenic views from all sides and is very stable, without any uncomfortable swaying. The only minor drawback was that some of the gondola windows were a bit dirty. Price: Affordable, with discounts up to 60% off. It would be a shame not to buy and ride! Convenience of booking with Klook: Easy and instant. You can book directly upon arrival and use it immediately.👍 Service: Initially, I was impatient with the long queue, but the staff's smiles and patient guidance made me feel much more relaxed. Sometimes, due to network issues, it was difficult to scan the QR code, but the staff would kindly ask us to wait a moment and still graciously allow us to use the facilities. It was a very hot day, and I truly admire how these staff members maintained excellent service for everyone. Experience: Highly recommended.

Great tour, the best tour we had in Japan. The best part was our tour guide James, they don't call him "the yellow flash" for nothing. He was engaging, funny, and actually shares some great tips for out Japan trip.

Serina provided a great experience from beginning to end. we did the classic route, which is unique to the tour and we started off in Hakone and progressed towards the shrine and pirate ship. Then we made our way to Arakurayama Sengen Park. The views were stunning there. Highly recommend Serina (tour guide) and the tour!

Suitable more for solo or couple, good that everything is included but it is very rushed if you wanna cover everything, so make sure you cover your priorities first. That being said, that’s inevitable if you want the entire thing to end by 6pm+-Tour. Guide Tony & the bus driver was great, reporting time and place are all individually messaged even after announcement so that’s good, overall still very worth for the price.

The tour was excellent. The day was perfect; we did everything. Our driver was really nice. Our tour guide, Peter, was excellent. He spoke very well English and very knowledgeable, he provided all the necessary details for this trip. This is highly recommended. Also, don't forget the bullet train; you have to experience it. The gondola and the pirate boat were great. Everything was perfect. The ride was smooth from Tokyo to Mount Fuji. It was a rainy day, but that didn't stop anything. We had a great experience with Bek as our driver. He was very accommodating to our requests and was happy to follow our customized itinerary instead of a fixed tour route. There was a small hiccup at the beginning of the day with about a one-hour delay because our original driver became unwell and had to be replaced. While it was an inconvenience, Bek handled the situation professionally and ensured the rest of the trip went smoothly. Our route was exactly as we had planned: from the hotel to Chureito Pagoda, Oishi Park, Lake Kawaguchiko, Shiraito Falls, and finally Shibuya. Bek drove safely, was punctual at each stop, and gave us the flexibility to enjoy each location at our own pace. Overall, despite the initial delay, we were very satisfied with the service. Bek’s friendly attitude, flexibility, and professionalism made the trip enjoyable. We would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and accommodating driver in the Mt. Fuji area

Serina was incredibly thoughtful. Our group came from various places, and only my companion and I, along with another gentleman, spoke Chinese. She would tell us in both Chinese and English where we were going next and where the famous photo spots were, even providing diagrams so we'd know how to get the best shots. Plus, Hakone was very crowded, and we were worried about getting lost. Sometimes, when the main group was ahead, and we got cut off by other groups, she would constantly turn back to check on us. Lastly, I really love Serina's voice; it's so pleasant and gentle. I highly recommend Serina, and I hope to have the chance to join her tour again next time I visit Japan.

Visiting Hakone and Enoshima was a fun experience despite the gloomy weather. We enjoyed visiting the unique attractions despite the limited time we had in each stop. Our tour guide, Rachel, was great in explaining each stop’s history and features. We also had a fun time mingling with our nice tour guide. Overall, this experience was all worth it. I highly recommend this tour the next time you visit Japan!
