An awesome day trip to Hakone and Yamanaka! A great thanks to our guide, Yang for her excellent service and her passion to share useful information for each destination, and taught us Japanese phrases/words. It was exciting to see Mt Fuji didn't shy away from our tour group today despite Tsuyu season in summer. Highly recommended! 🗼⛩️🏔️
We really appreciate the excellent and professional service from our guide Mr Ohashi. Mr Ohashi is very friendly and chatty. Throughout the journey, he shared with us details of the itinerary. It is really informative for us, first timer to Mt Fuji. Overall, the day trip package is really interesting and fun. We enjoy the pirate ship ride at Lake Ashinoko and the gondola at Hakone Ropeway. My daughter ate four black eggs at Owakudani 😅😄😄😄
Thank you Will for the hospitality and good service! Throughout this journey, he told us about the history of Tokyo, foods recommendation, souvenirs to buy in multi language like Mandarin and English so that everyone can understand clearly. We felt so lucky and grateful that we can see the view of Fuji mountain even though the visibility only 2 in the morning. Will come back again soon, bye bye!
The experience was wonderful. Our guide Mandy was very kind, energetic and fun. She explained everything very clearly and it was easy for us to understand. The views and the locations was stunning. I liked it very much, and i will recommend with all my pleasure to come and to be lucky to have Mandy as a guide again.
An excellent trip! All the locations were beautiful—a truly great family experience. Although everything had to move very quickly, Mandy went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic day filled with wonderful moments. I noticed other tour guides who looked grumpy—as if they didn't even want to be doing their jobs—but Mandy was always patient, fun, and, above all, kind. If you have the chance to book with Mandy, do it!
The tour was great! We easily reached the meeting point at Tokyo Station by subway. We were a large group, and the big bus was full. The seats on the bus are cramped. Tall people, 6'1" (1.85m) and over, might have difficulty with their long legs. The first row and the middle seat of the last row have legroom. We visited all the spots. With so many spots, time was sometimes tight. It wasn't always possible to look around extensively and at leisure. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied and were able to collect memories from everything we wanted. Our tour guide, Will, informed us a day in advance via email and WhatsApp. We highly recommend this tour!
Tour guide Sun-san kept us engaged all throughout the trip. She’s very energetic and hands on. It was a great day and she was very thorough with the itinerary, making sure we can go through all the activities for the day.
10/10 — highly recommend! It was an incredible experience and were lucky enough to enjoy perfect weather, with clear views of Mt. Fuji the entire time. We had the best day ever and this was even more possible because of our guide Will. He was experienced and knowledgeable, sharing helpful insights about each location along the way. He also pointed out the best photo spots at every stop, which really enhanced the experience. Overall, a fantastic and well run tour!
All the places were shown as mentioned in the itinerary with sufficient time at each location. The guide Will was helpful. He also shared details of places were visited in a simple and interesting way. At the end of the trip, he gave each one a sticker that represented different cultural elements of Japan. I really liked this part. We all got to learn bit more about Japanese culture as a result.
Hello My Friend, Will. Thank you for accompanying us during yesterday's trip. I'm very happy and the first experience was amazing. You are very friendly and kind and provide good explanations. Ontime 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. Once again, thank you. Highly recommend this trip…
Good to know
One day before departure, between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM, you will receive information about the tour guide and vehicle in your email (it may go to the spam folder), so please be sure to check it in time and keep your communication channels open. There may be slight delays during peak season. If you receive multiple emails, please refer to the latest email.
- If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be notified of the cancellation by email one day before departure. In the event of extreme weather conditions such as typhoons or blizzards, you will be notified by email whether the tour will be canceled by 6:00 PM local time the day before departure.
Seats and Vehicles
- The itinerary is a group tour, and seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have special needs, please make a note of them. We will do our best to arrange them, but the final arrangement will be subject to the situation on site.
- The type of vehicle used depends on the number of people, and you cannot specify the type of vehicle. When there are fewer people, a driver may be arranged to also serve as an attendant, and the explanation will be brief.
- If you need to bring luggage, you must inform us in advance. If you bring luggage without prior notice, the tour guide has the right to refuse you to board the vehicle and the fee will not be refunded. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the vehicle. If any damage is caused, you will be required to pay compensation according to local standards.
Itinerary Adjustment and Safety
- Japanese law stipulates that commercial vehicles must not be driven for more than 10 hours per day. If this time is exceeded, additional fees will be incurred (ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 yen/hour).
- The itinerary is for reference only. Actual traffic, stopover, and tour times may be adjusted due to weather, traffic jams, facility maintenance, and other circumstances. The tour guide may reasonably replace or reduce attractions depending on the actual situation.
- If cable cars, cruises, and other facilities are suspended due to weather or force majeure, the tour will be changed to other attractions or the stopover time will be adjusted.
- Fees will not be refunded for late arrivals, temporary changes to the meeting place, or leaving the group midway due to personal reasons. You will be responsible for any accidents and additional costs incurred after leaving the group.
Season and Scenery
- The visibility of Mount Fuji is greatly affected by the weather, especially in summer when the visibility is low. It is recommended to confirm the weather information before booking.
- Seasonal limited events such as flower viewing, autumn foliage viewing, snow scenery, and fireworks festivals are greatly affected by the climate. The flowering period and peak of autumn leaves may be earlier or later. Even if the expected scenery is not reached, the itinerary will still depart as normal and no refunds will be given.
Other Notes
- Please arrive at the meeting place on time. We will not wait for late arrivals, and you cannot join the tour midway. It is recommended to wear light clothing and shoes. Please bring warm clothing for winter or mountain itineraries.
* The itinerary does not include personal travel and accident insurance. It is recommended to purchase your own insurance. Outdoor activities and high-risk sports have certain risks. Please register carefully according to your own health conditions.
* After the itinerary departs, if it is forced to be terminated due to natural disasters or force majeure, the fee will not be refunded, and passengers will be responsible for their own return or additional accommodation costs.
* During peak travel times on Japanese red days and weekends, there are often serious traffic jams or attractions close early. It is recommended not to book flights, Shinkansen, or dinners for that evening, and to bring your own light snacks and a power bank.
