Fantastic 5.0
Klook offers the best prices. If you want to experience the charm of the Northern Kyushu region, I recommend taking the JR. I bought a three-day JR pass and visited Kokura, Mojiko, and Kumamoto. I highly recommend Kokura Castle; although it's a reconstructed castle, it offers many interactive activities for visitors. You can also try on kimonos for free and take photos, or experience horseback archery—it's definitely worth a visit. If you get off at Kokura, you must try the chicken udon noodles at the standing noodle shop on the Kitakyushu Station platform, which has a long history; it's very affordable and delicious! Mojiko is a beautiful harbor with a European flair, perfect for exploring various historic buildings and taking photos. Curry is a famous local dish there. Kumamoto Castle, one of Japan's three great castles, has several centuries of history and is a reconstructed castle with significant historical value. The castle's main color is black, and its appearance resembles a samurai, giving it a majestic presence. I suggest taking the tram to Kumamoto Castle to experience the local culture and daily life.

love the convenience with JR pass as it connects all the places of interest via Shinkansen. Juz that it’s getting more and more expensive… news reported it’ll increase price again this October so I better use it now 😂Klook has made purchase easy and convenient. I received the pass in less than 5days via DHL 👍🏻

Maximized this! 1st day of use : Bus from Tenjin to Beppu(¥3,250); local bus ride worth ¥170 per ride around Beppu . Day 2: Roundtrip bus from Beppu to Yufuin ¥1,880; local bus ride around Beppu; Day 3: Bus from Beppu to Tenjin (¥3,250); local bus ride in Tenjin and Hakata (¥150/ride); RT bus from Tenjin to Tosu Outlet ( ¥1,540). To note: To activate on the day of 1st day of use and should be in front of the ticketing staff so they can print the ticket(bus ride from Tenjin to Beppu). Same with days 2 and 3 activate the day use in front of the ticket staff or bus driver, they check the date: Local rides in Beppu, Yufuin, Tenjin and Hakata no need for reservation just get a small ticket upon entering the bus. Bus rides for Rountrip Beppu- Tenjin and Tenjin to Tosu premium outlets needs reservation ( you can do it online or bus terminal ticket office)

This pass is valid for two days. On the first day, you can travel from Hakata to Kokura and Mojiko. This pass is very useful, and you can take the limited express train, which is great. On the second day, take the subway from Hakata to Meinohama (pass not included), then go from Meinohama to Karatsu to see Karatsu Castle, awesome! This e-ticket can really save a lot of transportation costs. Recommended!

This was my first time purchasing a private car service in Japan. Since I speak Japanese, I initially contacted several local Japanese taxi companies, but their quotes were too expensive. After comparing prices, I purchased a private car plan on Klook. The driver's driving skills were very stable and safe, and they also helped me keep track of time to avoid extra charges for overtime. Overtime is charged at JPY 8,000 per hour. I would use this service again if I have the opportunity.

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Takachiho George, despite the unfortunate cancellation of our boat ride due to the rising tide, which we had no control over. Apart from that, all the places we visited, starting with the majestic Mt. Aso, the serene Kamishikimi Shrine, and the breathtaking Takachiho George, were truly picturesque. Japan has truly blessed us with its stunning natural beauty.
Our tour guide, Nicole Yang, was incredibly helpful and made our trip enjoyable. She speaks both English and Mandarin fluently, and her English is good, making it easy for us to understand her.
The travel time from Hakata to Mt. Aso or Takachiho George is approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Please remember to bring some food, as the journey can be quite long. However, the trip will stop on the expressway both ways to Hakata, so you’ll have a chance to use the restroom.
We hope to book this trip again in the future and finally get to ride the boat! 😇

I do not speak Mandarin Chinese, only English. but the guide Kong was so helpful and she is friendly. she tries her best. I recommend the tour. there was not any other English tour I could find so I came here. It was amazing. we were unfortunately unable to ride the train as it was storming and with the rain, no one could ride the boat + cannot go on the mount aso as it is closed. despite this, it was a really good experience in the end. I highly recommend it.

Although it was a shame that Mount Aso was closed and we couldn't visit, Takachiho Gorge and Kusasenri were wonderful. We are truly grateful to our guide, Kong, who worked so hard despite the rainy weather. I was a little worried because the guide was Chinese, but they provided the tour information in English, so we were able to enjoy the itinerary without any inconvenience. They also enthusiastically took photos and helped us get great souvenir shots. 🤗 When Mount Aso reopens and I visit Kumamoto again, I would definitely like to go with Kong. You truly did a great job.
