Our experience with the Kumamoto Castle & Josaien Kimono and Yukata Experience was very enjoyable overall, with the Klook booking process being smooth and convenient, making the activity easy to access and manage. The pricing feels reasonable considering both the cultural experience and the beautiful historical surroundings included. The facilities were clean, organized, and tourist-friendly, with staff assisting properly during the kimono and yukata dressing process. Staff were polite, patient, and helpful, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout the activity. The highlight was walking around the Kumamoto Castle and Josaien area while wearing traditional Japanese attire, which created a very authentic and memorable atmosphere. The experience also offered great opportunities for photography and cultural immersion. Overall, it is a unique and worthwhile activity for travelers wanting to experience a traditional side of Japan.

Kumamoto Suizenji Kimono, a first-time experience. The owner and staff were very polite and courteous. In summer, they give out Kumamoto fans, and in winter, socks. They also provide a free photo and complimentary admission to Suizenji Park.

This is a hotel I highly recommend after staying there during my trip to Japan. It has a great location, a wonderful atmosphere, delicious coffee in the lobby, and comfortable rooms equipped with a small table and sofa cushions, allowing you to relax. The views are excellent, and the staff are friendly, providing thoughtful service. It's a hotel worth recommending and revisiting. Special thanks for the birthday card and small gift on my birthday. I'm very grateful.

The hotel offers convenient transportation, being just a 3-minute walk from Sakuramachi Bus Terminal, which is very handy for travelers arriving in or departing from Kumamoto. Most Kumamoto City Trams also stop nearby. It's an excellent hotel for a rest before heading home. There's a large public bath on the 12th floor. Other reviews mentioned that the twin room is spacious enough to organize luggage; our deluxe room seemed designed to accommodate three people, as all amenities were provided for three. The L-shaped tatami seating area is very convenient for eating or working, and it's large enough that it doesn't disturb companions using it together, allowing for occasional conversation in a comfortable atmosphere. The bathtub in the bathroom is also spacious enough for relaxation. Additionally, if you need to buy souvenirs or cosmetics, the hotel's location in the bustling downtown area is very convenient. We stayed a week after the earthquake, so there might have been fewer guests, but we still noticed the soundproofing issue mentioned in other reviews. Each floor has a washer and dryer, but since there are many rooms per floor, it's advisable to wash your clothes before arriving during peak season. Breakfast is good, primarily Japanese style, but also includes bread and Southeast Asian dishes. The city view from the 12th floor is very pleasant.

OMO5 is about a 10-minute walk from Kumamoto Castle, right next to Tsuruya Department Store. There's a delicious bakery and restaurant on the hotel's ground floor, and the hotel breakfast is also very tasty. It's very close to the Kamitori and Shimotori shopping streets. Right outside the hotel, you'll find bus and tram stops. From Aso Airport, take bus line 3 or 4 to Tsutsumicho-suji, and the hotel is a two-minute walk from there. In the evenings, there's a free taiko drum performance and sake tasting. We had a wonderful vacation here.

I accidentally made a duplicate reservation on another site, and the staff member kindly explained the situation to my flustered self and even helped me with the cancellation process, which I was very grateful for as it resolved smoothly. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. It was excellent having shopping malls, convenience stores, and many restaurants all nearby. It was wonderful to be able to wash away my fatigue in the large public bath after walking a lot all day. The breakfast also had a good variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and the menu changed slightly every day, so I could enjoy it deliciously. If I have the chance to visit Kumamoto again, I will definitely book this hotel again.

After 10 PM, the hotel does not have staff available. Guests need to use their room key card to access the main entrance, which is convenient and secure. The rooms are equipped with washing machines and laundry pods are provided for guests, which is a thoughtful touch.
