we had a great driver his name was Jefri , he communicated fast and well via email as my WhatsApp wasn’t working, he was early and waiting for us as we got downstairs from hotel, he was a pleasure to have as driver easy to talk and shared a good laugh, if we could have him for our whole trip.

Great experience, booking was easy and the operator contacted us the day before for the finer details. Din was an excellent driver, safe and efficient. He arrived 15 min before the time and communicated with us by WhatsApp prior to arrive to keep us informed. He stopped whenever we needed to go to the bathroom and provided some interesting facts about the region. The car was very clean and spacious. Would use again and I recommend highly to book with them.

I read up the reviews before I decide to book this service for the second day of my trip. Uncle Chan was very considerate and helpful towards my dad's limitation in mobility. He would drive up to where my dad was to pick him up instead of just staying at the parking lot. Although it's just 40m away, Uncle Chan has made it easier for my dad. Doubling up as a guide, Uncle Chan has shared generously his knowledge on the history of Penang as he brought us to more places in addition to our original itinerary. The bus service from Unititi was spot on time. Booking on Klook was easy and convenient but the confirmation took one day which was ok but unexpected. The bus journey was comfortable and easy. The seat were comfortable with ample leg room and phone charging usb points.

We enjoyed our guided tour with Rana who is knowledgeable about fruit trees he introduced to us and we enjoyed eating the different fruits besides the juice and fruits package we bought via Klook. Overall a fun tour but beware can be very hot and mosquitoes too. Also you can request the ticketing office to help book taxi to leave the place as we are near to closing time at 5:15 pm.

Book it! The guide was amazing at explaining the history of the Penang hill, the difference in Buddhist practices, local culture and temples history. I would have not appreciated the location as deeply without this explanation. definitely worth it.

We had an enjoyable half-day tour around Balik Pulau. Ken was a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who shared interesting insights into Penang’s history, along with her personal experiences. She also brought us to a lovely local café where we had the opportunity to savour authentic Penang dishes.
The nutmeg factory was relatively small, but it was interesting to hear the owner explain the different stages of nutmeg cultivation, from young plants to mature trees. We also bought some locally made belacan, which turned out to be quite tasty!
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a nice way to explore the local culture and flavours of Balik Pulau. However, while we enjoyed the tour, we felt that it was a little pricey for what was offered and could have provided better value for money.
