we had a really excellent time making chopsticks! it was very fun and easy to follow. good balance of independence with giving help, and we could make our own design choices. the laser engraving was an extra fee, as were certain woods.

we had an excellent time - very informative on the history of cedar in the Nara prefecture, chopstick making techniques, and cultural insights. we also got great recommendations on places to eat and visit! our 12yo was very engaged and proud of his chopsticks.

The shop is easy to find, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They can also speak English. Furthermore, the items there are very new and beautiful, with many kimono styles to choose from. I highly recommend this kimono shop. I also had a beautiful and meaningful photoshoot here. If you visit Nara, you should definitely try wearing a kimono at this shop.

Our host welcomed us into their tea room. They explained all the elements and tools of the ceremony in perfect English. We also learned a few Japanese words and discovered a typical sweet treat. We learned a lot about the meaning of the bowls and the purification of the tools. It was a very emotional and meaningful experience that we thoroughly enjoyed discovering. We would love to do it again! Thank you to our host for their kindness and thoughtfulness.

The tea ceremony was a wonderful experience. I had the procedures explained to me, learned how to properly prepare matcha, and was able to make my own matcha. The information about how the necessary tools (chasen) are made was also very interesting. I can highly recommend Kurabi 🙏

Everything was great, an excellent guide who was very kind to everyone. She cares about the fun and well-being of each and every one of her travelers. Zoey is always smiling and very happy, and she shares that happiness with you.

During the summer vacation, I took my child to Japan. There were many places I wanted to visit, but I knew transportation would be a challenge, and without a guide, I might not understand anything. I've never joined a tour group or a day trip in China before, so I decided to try this with an open mind, and it truly deserves a five-star rating! This package is excellent and very affordable (I really didn't expect it to be so good for such a low price). The tour guide is a very enthusiastic Chinese person who is a permanent resident in Japan. The bus was comfortable throughout the trip, and the guide shared a lot about the local customs and culture from his many years in Japan, which was very insightful. A big thank you to Tour Guide Wu Shifeng; he was excellent and very professional, with no hidden fees! We visited all the classic Kyoto landmarks in one day, and the pace was just right! Highly recommended! Everyone should definitely go for it!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on this tour (departed from Osaka). Our tour guide, Joe, made the entire day exceptional. We were visiting from San Francisco with our extended family of 10, including several young kids, and Joe went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. One decision he made was reversing the itinerary taking us to Nara Park first. we were able to see and feed the deer before the deer crackers sold out! Another highlight was that Joe personally walked our group through the monkey park forest trail (all the way to the top.) He took our family photo and gave us time to enjoy feeding the monkeys. He cared that everyone had the best experience. Take this tour when visiting Osaka - if you’re lucky enough to get Joe as your guide, you’re in excellent hands. Thank you, Joe, for making our family’s day one of the highlights of our Japan trip!

I had really fun on this tour and I feel like for the price that I paid, I got to do a lot of the must-sees in Japan. The tour guide, which I forgot his name 🥲, was really funny and engaging. He offered to take photos for each group and he knew how to speak English, Chinese, and Japanese. Also, I'm glad that I was able to upgrade to have a lunch even though I didn't originally buy it through Klook. I feel like if I didn't have food reserved before, I would have spent less time in one of the areas. Overall, I would definitely do this tour again in the future.
