After that, I just waited nearby, and the bus departed directly from in front of the counter, which was very convenient. The bus itself was comfortable and well-equipped. There was a toilet on board, which was very helpful during the journey, especially for a long-distance trip. .

I had fun exploring Southern Taiwan with this 3 day pass. Very easy to use, it comes with a booklet that you'll get from the HSR counter. You can book your HSR in advance through the website, can even change your time of departure when you go to the counter. My accomodation is in Taipei and the day trips in Taichung and Tainan was just a breeze. HSR also provides free shuttle bus between HSR station to the main city, just research for the bus number. You have to go through the staff at the gates to pass through, they will inspect the booklet. I'll comeback to explore more of South Taiwan!

Back and forth tickets will be provided at the counter so keep your return ticket with you price: very affordable transport included: good value for money. the driver at the airport even helped us put our luggage in the bus compartment. Although in the Taipei bus station, the driver did not helped us with our luggage at all lol
