Good and interesting experience to drive around the lake in a mini EV. pick up from main station was easy. Guide was knowledgeable and stopped at a few scenic spots and helped to record videos and took photos . these were later sent to us via air drop at end of activity . Do note that the price for klook is significantly higher than the price offered direct by the tour operator. I managed to appeal for klook best price guarantee which klook honour and refunded the difference in klook cash voucher .

i needed a photographer when i travelled solo to see shibazakura festival, so i hired a photographer via klook and was assigned Taiki-san. I was actually late to my appointment because I took the wrong bus, and he kindly waited for me. He was polite and professional and managed to get the photos i wanted. Thank you!

Overall, it was a fantastic wedding photoshoot experience! From makeup and wedding dress selection to the entire shooting process, the staff were incredibly attentive. The photographers and videographers were also very patient, actively guiding our poses and expressions, which allowed us, who aren't usually good at taking photos, to relax and complete the shoot. Language communication in Chinese was absolutely no problem, and the process went very smoothly. We were also very satisfied with the final photos. The overall service and finished product exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend them!

highly recommend! esp if you get James as a guide - he's so funny and relaxed. i learned a lot and felt very safe. i feel like i got a good day trip out of this experience as a first-time Japan solo traveller who can't drive!! this is a great option for people in a similar boat. i rated value short one star as i ended up going on a cloudier day, which was somewhat my fault (as shown in pics). generally speaking it would've been fully worth my money if i saw fuji-san's peak! otherwise, the driving, destinations, educational aspects and photo ops were great!

Fantastic 5.0
We had a great day trip to Mt. Fuji with Klook! The pick-up from our hotel was punctual, and the journey to Mt. Fuji was quick and smooth. We were lucky to have clear weather that day, with the entire mountain visible in all its glory. The itinerary was good overall, although we had to skip the clock shop area due to traffic congestion. A special mention goes to our driver, Mr. Tommy, who was an excellent navigator. He handled the traffic situation well and thoughtfully asked us to get off at a suitable spot while he waited for the traffic to clear so he could find parking. This helped us make better use of our time. All in all, it was a good and enjoyable trip, and I would recommend it to others. Just a tip: do check the Mt. Fuji visibility forecast before booking, as the weather can make a big difference to your experience! Thank you, Mr. Tommy, for making the trip a pleasant one!

Fantastic 5.0
My parents and I had the best day ever with this private small Mt Fuji group tour. We got to visit all 6 major popular places to see Mt Fuji. My favourite is Lake Yamanakako (Swan Lake). We were blessed with a sunny and almost clear sky day to see Mt Fuji from all viewpoints. Our tour guide / driver Lin has made our experience even better by going above and beyond to accommodate for our last minute requests and help us book the bus tickets to Mishima station.

Actually when I reach the place, it was under maintenance for almost 2 months. Good thing is you can discuss with Klook to get refund if you cannot enter to use the ticket. So, please check the schedule and annoucement on their official website.

What to know before visiting Minamitsuru

What to do in Minamitsuru

Minamitsuru is a compact destination best known for its strong bookings in Tours, followed by Cable cars and Attraction passes, with Outdoor & sports activities and Parks & gardens also popular. Klook booking data shows demand peaks in December and November and dips in late summer, so the rhythm of the year shapes what’s on offer: guided tours and day trips dominate during the busier months, while cable car outings and outdoor activities are easier to find in quieter periods. For travellers choosing when to visit, decide whether you want peak-season atmosphere or quieter, more flexible planning based on the seasonal booking pattern reported by Klook.

Best months and price patterns

Klook booking data shows the busiest months are November and December, with December the single strongest month and August the quietest. Prices drift through the year with the priciest typical median nightly price in June and the lowest in August; demand and price sometimes align (December is both busier and relatively expensive) and sometimes diverge (August is very quiet while prices are at their lowest).

For lower prices and smaller crowds, consider visiting in August or the surrounding very quiet months; for the peak festive atmosphere aim for November–December when demand is highest.

Month Demand Level Typical Price
January Busier than usual AUD 81
February Busier than usual AUD 78
March About average AUD 78
April Peak demand AUD 78
May Busier than usual AUD 78
June Quieter than usual AUD 82
July Very quiet AUD 72
August Very quiet AUD 70
September Very quiet AUD 73
October Quieter than usual AUD 72
November Peak demand AUD 73
December Peak demand AUD 78

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Where to stay in Minamitsuru

Klook booking data shows a clear split in typical nightly hotel prices across districts: Oshino is the most affordable with a typical nightly rate around AUD 160, while Narusawa sits at the priciest end with about AUD 651, a gap of roughly 75% between them. Fujikawaguchiko and Yamanakako fall in the middle with typical rates around AUD 379 and AUD 224 respectively. Cheaper districts tend to suit travellers prioritising budget and flexibility, while pricier districts suit those seeking more premium accommodation or a more upmarket stay experience, according to Klook booking patterns.

Tips for travellers from Australia

Klook booking data shows Australians typically book about two weeks ahead, and the earliest planners book around 34 days out. That means you can often be flexible and book experiences a few days before travel, but in November–December it pays to lock popular tours earlier. Last-minute planners can still find options — many experiences are bookable up to 2 days before — yet advance booking on Klook gives more choice in peak months. Use Klook to reserve guided tours and cable-car experiences ahead of time when travelling in the busier season, or wait a little closer to travel for quieter months.
