Absolutely stunning tour. Out tour guide, Linda, was so sweet, knowledgeable, and made the tour even more fun. She even helped us with getting to the bullet train station afterwards, which she did not have to do. All the locations we went to was beautiful! Definitely recommend this tour. :D

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time on the Mount Fuji tour. We went on one of the hottest days, but the skies were clear so we were lucky to see Mount Fuji clearly! Jun was a terrific tour guide, very considerate and concerned that everyone stay hydrated and had proper sunscreen. He was funny and communicated well about the schedule and meeting times. We would recommend to others, thank you!

Having a small group tour is better than the big one (bus). There's always communication with everyone. Our guide, Lee, is kind & drives carefully. Even though it was raining, the Mr Lee still stops at every place listed on the itinerary. He tries to explain history or bit & pieces of the places we've been. Overall, it was a good experience. Just a bit sad because we haven't seen Mt Fuji coz it was raining 😞

Best Guide Won Yang!!!!! Hakone & Mt. Fuji One-Day Tour Review 🗻 (feat. The Best Guide Ever) As the highlight of my Tokyo trip, I went on a Hakone & Mt. Fuji one-day tour. It was the most memorable day of this trip, and at the heart of it was our incredibly kind guide, Won Yang!!! From the early morning meeting point in Shinjuku, our guide greeted each person with a bright smile and took care of us. On the bus ride, they explained the history of Mt. Fuji and various sights and information about Hakone, so there was never a dull moment. It wasn't just about guiding us to places; they also thoughtfully provided detailed information in advance, like the best times to use the restroom and how long until the next activity, which made us feel very comfortable. The itinerary was packed, including a Hakone cruise and a hot spring village, making me wonder how it was possible to fit so much into one day. Yet, the guide's expertise ensured the schedule was well-distributed so we didn't feel tired. What was most impressive was their attitude towards people. They patiently waited for the elderly members of our group to match their walking pace and answered even small questions with a smile, never showing any sign of annoyance. On the way back, despite what must have been a tiring day, their bright voice and dedication to getting us back safely felt truly sincere. It made me realize how much meeting a good guide can transform the quality of a trip. If you're considering a Hakone & Mt. Fuji tour, I highly, highly recommend Guide Won Yang. To our guide who led us today, thanks to you, it was an unforgettable day. Thank you so much, and please stay healthy! 🙏🗻🎈❤️💓💖💕😄😄

The Mount Fuji day tour was perfectly smooth, and our driver-guide provided excellent commentary, covering everything from geological formations to local anecdotes in great detail. The unique characteristics of each site were woven into their historical context, making every view tell a story. Our fellow travelers were full of laughter and left with wonderful memories. We are truly grateful for this enriching and unforgettable journey!

Great experience! Laner Jin was an awesome tour guide, very knowledgable and helpful when we had questions! We got lucky with the weather today and Mt. Fuji showed herself to us a few times! She was playing hide and seek with the clouds but we were able to get a few pics with her. We also were able to pick up some souvenirs and even brought back some water straight from Mt. Fuji! The Gotemba Premium Outlets was a plus and we got to kill two birds with one stone with this day trip! Good stores and really good deals! Would definitely recommend if you want to sightsee and shop!

It was a good tour where we did not feel rushed at each stop. I'd recommend bringing an umbrella, as there is a lot of time in the sun. Most stops are near convenience stores, so buying cold drinks is easy. If you are going to walk up the 398 stairs to the pagoda, you get "leg day" as a free bonus. Our tour guide Ariel was attentive, polite, kind, knowledgeable, funny, and pretty.

What to know before visiting Minamitsuru

Quick snapshot of Minamitsuru District

Minamitsuru District is a year-round outdoor destination where tours, cable cars and attraction passes dominate bookings. Demand rises and falls through the year, with clear high and low months that shape when the district feels busiest.

Best times to visit and how prices move

December is the busiest month according to Klook booking data, while August is the quietest — demand tapers off sharply through the late summer. Prices are relatively steady across the year but were typically lowest in July and drifted up toward June, which Klook data shows as the priciest month. For lower prices and smaller crowds, consider visiting in July or August; for the full peak-season atmosphere, plan for December when activity is highest.

Tips for travellers from the Philippines

Most travellers from the Philippines book around five days in advance, so you can be flexible but it helps to lock plans about a week out — especially if you’re visiting in December. Many popular options — guided tours, cable car rides and attraction passes — are commonly available on short notice, so use Klook to compare options and secure the experiences you want before you travel.
