Things to do in Wulai Old Street

We highly recommend this Wulai tour, especially our driver, Mr. Nelson Lim. If you want to experience Taiwan's nature and learn about their culture and indigenous people in their finest, this tour is one of the best! Mr. Lim is an excellent driver, timely and very flexible with regards to our scheduling. We also received a complimentary sausage for this trip.

During holidays, adult tickets are cheaper here. This forest recreation area is very easy to walk around, but parking spaces are quite limited, so you might have to park on the roadside near the elementary school.

Tommy was a really cool and sweet tour guide :) He helped us ordering food at Wulai since it was mostly in Chinese and told really good stories about Taiwan’s history as well.

We came here once when the kids were little, and I remember there were a lot of stairs to climb. I'm surprised that coming back now that they're older, it doesn't feel as bad?

This is the only amusement park in Taiwan that you have to take a cable car to reach, which is quite unique. Because it's not heavily developed, the scenery is truly beautiful. It's a bit of a shame that many attractions were closed for renovation.

The environment is comfortable and clean, with beautiful scenery. You can enjoy mountain and river views while soaking in the hot springs, which is very relaxing. The staff are friendly, and overall, it offers great value for money. Highly recommended.
