Things to do in Yehliu Geopark

Had an amazing day trip to Yehliu Geopark, Shifen and Jiufen with MyPro Guide on 1 September 2026. Our guide, Vincent, was fantastic! He was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about each place we visited. He also made sure we had enough time to explore, take photos and enjoy the experience without feeling too rushed. The transportation was comfortable and the whole itinerary was well organised. Vincent also shared interesting information and recommendations along the way, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Yehliu was beautiful, Shifen was a lot of fun, and Jiufen was definitely one of the highlights of the day. Having a private guide made it much easier and more convenient to visit all three places in one day. Overall, highly recommended MyPro Guide and especially Vincent if you’re looking for a convenient and enjoyable day trip from Taipei. Would definitely book with them again! 👍🇹🇼

we really love the tour thanks to our tour guide, kate hsiao! she help us find the oldest pineapple cake in jiufen. she gave us a map every destination and if you listen during her briefing you will not be lost. I recommend this tour 100%

We enjoyed our day trip to Shifen, Jiufen and the Taiwanese pineapple pastry shop. Our guide, Jeff, was okay, but the tour felt a little rushed and we would have liked more time at each place. The driver was very friendly and Jeff, took good care of us throughout the trip. Although the time was limited, we still enjoyed the experience overall. Thank you for taking care of us!

I booked Klook for a day tour in Taiwan’s famous tourist spots for my family. Our tour guide is Xiao-Hei and he was PERFECT!! He made sure that the tour experience was great even if there was rain. He took a lot of beautiful pictures and was very kind to us. He was very knowledgeable in every place we went to and even shared the history and facts for each place we went to. We had fun listening to Xiao-Hei because he knew everything about Taiwan and what are the best stores we can buy from. I want to thank Xiao-Hei for giving my family and I the best tour experience since we had first timers in the group. I was impressed by how he did the tour and will surely book klook again for our future travels. I will recommend this to my family and friends! Gabe was so amazing, everything was well explained even had casual conversations about Taiwan. He was very accomodating and took good pictures for us, he even know Japanese which was cool. This was a great tour and we had a blast. This tour is good cause there are not much tourist and more locals so it is quiet and peaceful until yeliu.

The Fun Pass is really useful and great. However, if you try to enjoy all these benefits within a short schedule, your trip might become too exhausting. So, I recommend comparing the monetary value of the benefits you'd get and then making your purchase. For attractions like Yehliu Geopark, Jinguashi, and the Shifen Sky Lantern experience, you might find it more effective to purchase a separate Fun Trip Yehliu-Shifen-Jiufen-Jinguashi (YES FOG JING) bus tour and use them together. Also, as a side note, I recommend adding the Funlab bag-making experience to your itinerary. It's surprisingly fun and provides a cool space for a short break. The wood glue they provide takes a long time to dry after attaching materials, so rather than rushing to sew, it's better to glue the pieces, put them in a plastic bag, carry them carefully, and by the next day, they should be completely dry. Using glue will save you a lot of time.

We would like to express our gratitude to our tour guide, Jeffrey, who went above and beyond to deliver exceptional service throughout the day. He is kind, humorous, and incredibly resourceful, and he truly made our time in Taipei both enjoyable and memorable. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, with excellent time management at each stop. We especially appreciated the relaxed pace, the scenic little walks, and the delightful surprises along the way. Jeffrey also helped us capture many wonderful moments—we took lots of photos, and he made sure we had great shots to remember the day by. The food in Jiufen was delicious, and the lantern activities were a highlight, creating lasting memories for all of us. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We would highly recommend booking this private tour with Klook—especially if you have Jeffrey as your guide.
