Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple tours

I was very lucky to see snow at Katsuo-ji Temple this time. The time spent at the three attractions throughout the trip was good and not too rushed. The biggest advantage of participating in Klook is that it solves the transportation problem, and you can take a good rest on the bus. The only downside is that the front and rear seats were a little small. Finally, I would like to thank Xiao Qin for taking us from the parking lot to the entrance, and for kindly reminding us that the meeting time was approaching before the meeting time.

It was only the guide and me. And she was the sweetest soul!! Ōtagi Nenbutsuji is a very relaxing and beautiful temple tucked away in the mountains and forest away from the center of Kyoto. It has a fascinating story, so please, do yourself a favour and book the tour!!! There's a bit of walking to do, so be prepared.

Departing today in a 9-seater van, the entire trip was very smooth and highly flexible. Many thanks to Mr. Kangfu for his patient explanations in both Chinese and English while driving. 🥰 I especially enjoyed the two hours we had at Katsuoji Temple, which was just the right amount of time.

Our tour guide Frederick great!! He kept everyone safe and explained everything to the greatest detail. The day went smoothly and he was considerate with our tour timing because of the blazing heat. Would recommend!! 👍👍👍

Abigail is a very pleasant and informative guide. She is approachable and communicates effectively. I was impressed that she could speak English, Chinese and possibly Japanese also. She considered the tour groups optional location choices and offered helpful suggestions as well. We were the first tour group to make Katsuo-jii temple so we did get some amazing photos with fewer background crowds and it was easy to navigate. Meeting point times were made clear and strictly adhered to and thankfully, our group respected that. The travel tour group consisted of 12 including the driver and Abi herself. The van was comfortably air conditioned, clean and tidy and suitable for the group size.
