Highly recommend this tour, especially if you're lucky enough to have Frederick as your guide. Thank you for making our Kyoto trip such a memorable one! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
An extensive and worthwhile tour of all the major sights across Kyoto. We found Christ to be an entertaining, yet insightful tour guide, who was able to elaborate on Japanese culture and history to give us context to what we were visiting. He was very clear with his directions for meet up points, and was able to take great photos of all in our tour group, despite having to wade through the immense number of tourists at times. Nonetheless, the weather was perfect on the day, and we were able to see all the sights in all their sunny splendour!
We had an amazing Kyoto day tour with Jack! From start to finish, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable. He shared interesting history, local tips, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the day. Jack kept the tour well organized while still giving us enough time to explore and take in the beauty of Kyoto. His positive attitude and genuine hospitality made the trip even more memorable. If you're looking for a guide who is professional, personable, and truly cares about giving you a great experience, I highly recommend Jack. Thank you for making our day in Kyoto so special!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Best day tour experience Nijō Castle and Fushimi Inari — was an absolute highlight of our entire Japan trip, and so much of that comes down to one person: our tour guide Niko. Niko is simply exceptional. Fluent in English, Mandarin AND Japanese, he effortlessly connected with every single person in our group. But it's not just the languages — it's the way he brings each destination to life. His knowledge of Japanese history, culture and local fun facts is incredible, and he shares it all with such genuine enthusiasm that you hang on every word. He walked us through every site with care, made sure no one got left behind, and created this wonderful atmosphere where strangers became friends by the end of the day. I made new friends on this tour that I would never have met otherwise — that says everything. I will 100% be booking another Klook tour and I will be looking out for Niko. If you're on the fence — just book it. You will not regret it. 🙏🇯🇵
A tour of Kyoto is an unforgettable journey into Japan’s cultural heart, blending serene tradition with stunning natural beauty. Walking through the iconic vermilion gates of Fushimi Inari Taisha feels almost spiritual, while the shimmering golden pavilion of Kinkaku-ji leaves a lasting impression with its picture-perfect reflection. The peaceful bamboo groves of Arashiyama Bamboo Grove offer a calming escape, and the historic streets of Gion provide a glimpse into the world of geishas and traditional tea houses. Overall, a Kyoto tour is beautifully paced, culturally rich, and deeply immersive, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and tranquil Japanese experience.
Jackson, the guide, is a great guy, really funny, and super informative about the history of the places we visited! The price is also extremely affordable! The places we visited were very interesting and incredibly beautiful, and all for that price! I also think it's great that you can visit the places and explore them independently! You get all the necessary information on the way there, so you can take your time to look around and take photos.🤩
Absolutely amazing tour!! Our tour guide Anson was such a kind, helpful person, leading us (the entire tour group was only 19 people) through each temple, shrine, and other attractions. His facts and info definitely helped me better understand all the historic sights we visited. When I visit Japan again in a year or so, I wish it could be with Anson guiding the way! 👍👍
Great and smooth tour. Our guide Jack is very friendly and helpful. Tour was very well organized and timely managed. It really helped us see beautiful places to visit in Kyoto. Would highly recommend this tour.
OUR TOUR GUIDE CHRIS IS EXTREMELY FUNNY 😆 GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR , “YOU MADE OUR TRIP UNFORGETTABLE, ACCOMMODATING US WITH SUCH PATIENCE” HE MAKES SURE NO ONE LEFT BEHIND IN THE GROUP, WE HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH OUR TOUR IN KYOTO ARASHIYAMA, NIJO CASTLE, FUSHIMI INARI, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 💕 THANK YOU CHRIS LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE YOU AGAIN IN OUR FUTURE TRIP IN KYOTO😍
The Arashiyama Bamboo Grove wasn't as impressive as I imagined. If you have enough time, taking a rickshaw tour of Arashiyama would be more enjoyable. Nijo Castle is definitely worth seeing, and Fushimi Inari Shrine is beautiful for photos, with its countless torii gates being quite stunning. We boarded in Kyoto and disembarked in Osaka, and we wanted our luggage to travel with the bus. We asked Klook customer service, and they were very efficient, quickly confirming that it was possible. Our tour guide, Anson, provided clear explanations throughout the trip, and the bus was comfortable. Overall, we were satisfied.👍
