This Kyoto day tour was absolutely amazing! Chris was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and stories behind each of the places we visited. He made everything so interesting and fun to learn about, and his charisma and sense of humor made the tour even more fun. He was such a funny and entertaining guide! The tour itself was very well organized and well planned, allowing us to see many of Kyoto’s important and beautiful sights in just one day. If you're looking for a great way to explore Kyoto, learn about its history, and see the highlights all in one day, I highly recommend this tour! We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.
Had a very beautiful and memorable experience all thanks to our wonderful tour guide Mr Chris... He made our tour experience worthwhile. Very knowledge about the different sites we visited and extremely helpful in ensuring a great experience for us all. He was very welcoming, polite and ready to assist. Thank you again Mr Chris for a day tour well spent👍🏾👌🏾
Chris was absolutely fantastic. Very informative and attentive. Chris kept on checking on my husband due to his limited movements. Sites were fantastic and would gladly use again and give my recommendation to everyone. Thanks Chris and also thanks to our wonderful driver. Jacqueline and Jim Crow
Jack (tour guide) and our driver were fantastic. Wanted to set expectations for other travelers: this is a minimal-guidance, self-guided style tour. Jack won’t walk you through each pavilion with detailed explanations, which was exactly what we wanted. You get more freedom to explore at your own pace, and the overall trip moves at a moderate-to-slightly-fast pace. We were able to hit every stop on our list without feeling rushed or bored. If you’re looking for a slow, deeply narrated tour, this isn’t it — but if you want an efficient, well-run day that covers Kyoto’s highlights with a reliable driver and helpful guide, this is excellent. It’s also one of the few reasonably priced Kyoto-only tours that doesn’t bundle with Nara, which was a big plus for us since we only wanted Kyoto. We traveled with a teenager and a younger child, and the pace worked. Jack and our driver made the whole day smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend for families who want an efficient, well-organized trip
Anson is a great guide, giving information needed and lively communication. The tour is pretty action packed but it was okay. It was not enjoyable as it should be because it was simply a very hot day.
