Departing today in a 9-seater van, the entire trip was very smooth and highly flexible. Many thanks to Mr. Kangfu for his patient explanations in both Chinese and English while driving. 🥰 I especially enjoyed the two hours we had at Katsuoji Temple, which was just the right amount of time.

I joined the one-day trip and honestly had such a great time. Our tour leader, Kris Wang, was super friendly and really helpful. His English was also very good, so everything felt smooth and easy throughout the day. The whole trip was comfortable and well-organized, and it’s perfect for solo travellers or anyone joining alone. I never felt awkward or left out. We also got plenty of time at each location, so nothing felt rushed. Overall, really recommended!!!! Such a chill, enjoyable, and memorable day! I was worried it would be tiring, but the itinerary is actually very manageable and interesting, and well-organized. They were punctual and provided very clear information. The minivan was a bit old, but the driver was excellent and very helpful.

A leisurely day trip with guide Xiao Qin, who provided detailed introductions to the locations in both Chinese and English. Arashiyama has beautiful scenery... Today happened to be a holiday, so it was extremely crowded.

The guide was excellent, the car was comfortable, and the temples were beautiful with enough time to explore.

I booked this trip last minute, and the company notified me that there weren't enough people, so it was canceled. They immediately emailed me to proactively offer similar trips and the option to change the departure date, which was great! The only downside was that it was a less popular tour, so there were fewer people, and we rode in a minibus. Compared to other day trips with more people riding in a large bus, the minibus wasn't as comfortable because the point-to-point travel time was long! But overall, it was a good experience, and there was enough time to enjoy each attraction!
