Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple tours

We had a great experience with our guide. Liao was very attentive, friendly, and always made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the tour. He explained everything clearly, answered all our questions with a smile,l. We highly recommend him. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable!

I highly recommend this Kyoto walking tour! A special thanks to our guide, Yasuo, who was incredibly friendly and professional. His detailed explanations throughout the tour made the entire journey relaxing and enjoyable. The transportation was also punctual and comfortable. This was a five-star experience!

It was a well planned trip. Things were done in a good oder and timely fashion. Guide gave us some insights and stories from around the place. Clean vehicle. Had a great time.

It was only the guide and me. And she was the sweetest soul!! Ōtagi Nenbutsuji is a very relaxing and beautiful temple tucked away in the mountains and forest away from the center of Kyoto. It has a fascinating story, so please, do yourself a favour and book the tour!!! There's a bit of walking to do, so be prepared.

The day before, you'll receive a text message with the meeting point and time. Just arrive on time, and you'll be ready for a pleasant departure. Since it was a combined tour, our guide, Yurika, first introduced everything in English and then explained it in Chinese, which was very thoughtful. At each stop, she clearly announced the meeting time and location, and overall, we had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Kyoto Akashiyama Fushimi Inari and Nara Deer Day Tour. Our tour guide Willa was very professional, knowledgeable and well organised. A WhatsApp group was created for tour participants so that all important information was shared promptly to ensure a smooth day. The highlight was the Nara deer experience, where we enjoyed hand-feeding the deer. The tour ran to time and guests were advised to be promptly back to the bus at all stops. Please keep this in mind when booking a tour in Japan, as punctuality is critical to avoid missing your bus. Overall, the tour was great value and we felt there was sufficient time for sightseeing at all stops. It was incredibly busy at each stop on the tour due to the Silver Week holiday in Japan during September, and was not a reflection of the tour company itself. We would highly recommend this as a day tour for any travellers visiting Osaka. Thanks for a great experience Willa.

This tour was great, very punctual, and they complied 100% with what they offered. My guide "Effy" was super special; she explained everything super clearly, even with slides. Super recommended. Este tour fue genial, muy puntuales y cumplieron al 100% con lo que ofrecen, mi guía "Effy"super especial, explico todo super claro hasta con diapositivas.... super recomendado.

We had such a lovely tour with Zoey! The whole trip was well organized and so much fun. Zoey was super cute and friendly, and she explained a lot of interesting things about the places we visited. I really enjoyed the day. Highly recommended!

We had the best tour guide, Jack was amazing. He showed us around the park, the shrine, and even offered to make us reservations at a restaurant after our tour since we didn’t know a much Japanese ourselves. This experience went above and beyond my expectations and we would definitely go again!
