For those on a self-drive tour, the car parking fee is ¥700. It's about a 10-minute walk to Himeji Castle, and there's also a supermarket nearby, making the overall transportation quite convenient. I would consider staying here again next time I visit Himeji.

This hotel is conveniently located right outside the south exit of Himeji Station, offering friendly service and luggage storage. The rooms are like new, with mattresses that are just the right firmness. The bathtubs are deep and long, with excellent water pressure, and DHC amenities and a powerful hairdryer are provided. Complimentary bottled water is offered in the room, along with a coffee maker and tea bags. The excellent location makes getting around extremely easy, with a wide variety of dining and shopping options nearby. The guest rooms are well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, and check-out time is 12:00 PM. Using the Setouchi Area Rail Pass in conjunction with your stay will save you time and make traveling around the area even more convenient.

Blessed with beautiful weather & an awesome guide. 1. guide was knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. 2. Time was relaxed & sufficient to enjoy each location. 3. I learned a lot of history & gained much cultural insight from our guide, Gary! 4. Himeji Castle: is an astounding cultural, historical & architectural masterpiece! I feel so honoured to walk the halls of this infamous keep! 5. Arima onsen: is a beautiful & classic town. it is really cute & romantic. The "onsen" was quite toasty (42°c & 44°c) but most excellent. Soak long enough & you will feel some internal transformation. 6. Mt. Rokko has a most amazing view of Osaka & Kobe. It is a tranquil place with a large & 💕 ly gift shop. Plenty of good quality traditional regional gift choices: honey, printed hand towels, Kobe beef, etc... I highly this tour & maybe you too can be blessed to have Gary as your guide & ambassador. Thank you so much Gary, we appreciate you.
