Hotels near Kyoto Railway Museum

Very pleased with the stay here even though we didn’t spend too much time in the room (too much to explore in Kyoto!) Location: About 7 minutes walk away from Kyoto Station north entrance, very convenient! Room: Room size is huge for Japan’s standard. Washroom is spilt into Toilet, Shower/Bath, and sink area, and it is huge. Amenities: Plenty of consumables provided. From the basic toiletries, to many different samples of shampoo/conditioners, to pain patches. Service: Staff spoke excellent English and very courteous throughout. We left our luggage as we arrived early, and staff kindly brought our luggage to our room when the room was ready.

The location is not near Kyoto station specially if you have luggages but the hotel itself is clean, straightforward and in a quiet location it's just not easy to get there in my own experience.

The only minor drawback is that you need to be careful when cars pass each other in the alley, but everything else is great, and the stay was very comfortable.

This is a review of a stay with 3 adults and 1 baby (15 months old)! Because we had a baby, we took a taxi from Kyoto Station, but it seems like it's about a 20-minute ride by public transportation, so I wouldn't mind coming back next time. However, there's not much to do around the accommodation, so if you stay here, you'll have to spend your time entirely at the accommodation. But even just staying at the accommodation, it feels like you can get your money's worth! There are vending machines, ice cream, and soba available inside the hotel, so we spent two days praising the accommodation! The breakfast was perfect for Korean tastes and there was a wide variety, which was so great! (+The staff were also super friendly)

Only one key per room, and having to exchange it at the front desk every time was inconvenient. The staff also seemed impatient.

A very satisfying stay! We booked a family room and the whole family was very happy. The room was spacious and comfortable, there was a large public bath to relieve daily fatigue, and there was a 7-Eleven next to the hotel for shopping. It was also a few minutes' walk to the Kyoto Aquarium, making it easy to spend a whole day there. It's only one stop from Kyoto Station, and the hotel also offers cheap bus transfers. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean and nice. I recommend this accommodation. Basic amenities are also available.
