Shirakawa-go tours

Highly recommending this trip to whoever is planning to go to Takayama and Shirakawa-go. Our tour guide Ms. Amy has been helpful and she shared some tips / insights during the trip. It’s actually really good. You don’t have to find time to take the subway, bus, etc. The only two itineraries you can go to are Takayama (a half-day trip) and Shirakawa-go (a half-day trip - including the night). The bad point is: because of the round trip to Nagoya on the same day, the time at each stop was too short (crying), even though it was cold today (2/2) for the light-up day tour 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️⋯⋯The tour guide Nice guy, good at chatting😏😏😏⋯⋯

This tour is the only one that visits 3 ancient villages. The tour guide gave a quick and efficient briefing so everyone could get to the most iconic spots to save time. Overall, it was okay. We took a lot of pictures, but it was too sunny, and many stores closed early.

I really loved this tour. our tour guide and deiver Li was very helpful and we were on time to our destinations. bonus points for the real- life location of the anime “Your Name” in Hida Furakawa. I would definitely recommend this tour

Experience the best Takayama and Shirakawa-go tour available. The two destinations for my day trip were departing on time and it was easy to find the meeting point. See the Miyakawa morning market, Nakabashi bridge, Hida kokubunji temple, and Takayama Old Town. Before visiting Shirakawa-go village, take a look at the village from above on the observation deck. Your photos are being taken by staff, and you can obtain a small photo for free. Gassho-zukuri buildings can be found in this village

Our tour guide is Kaku who is very professional and helpful. He paid attention to every guest and tried his best to introduce the sites/spots to the guests. He also provided additional recommendations to enrich our travel experience. Lucky to meet him in the tour!

Definitely recommend checking out these mountain villages when visiting Japan! The bus tour made it so easy and we had more than enough time to explore. The guides were super sweet and knowledgeable!!

I like the tour arrangement without rushing us. There have enough time for us to explore the tourist place. Although when the time we arrive murodo, it's raining. But stil can enjoy the view. Highly recommend the trip. It's worth.
