I went on a bus tour alone, and it was comfortable because the guide provided commentary in Korean.

This trip was definitely worth it, and lunch was delicious too. In Takayama, you can even eat while walking around and check out souvenirs. I was so happy. If only we could have stayed a bit longer at each spot, it would have been perfect! 😁😁

shirakawa and takayama were beautiful, despite the snow melting by now, it still has a different charm. super long drive but worth it. the itinerary was quick in each location and you really have to rush the sightseeing if you want to see most of it but also understandable because the journey is really far. thankfully there wasnt any jam that day. The guide was just okay, just reading the locations from her ipad, late during meet up but she’s polite.

I visited on March 7th! Honestly, I was debating canceling until the day before, thinking all the snow would have melted. I usually try to avoid tours because if you get a bad guide or bad group, it can ruin your whole day. But I decided to go, and I was really satisfied! As expected, the snow had melted, but from the moment Guide Kim Eun-g welcomed us at the meeting point, I felt like we had a great guide. Throughout the tour, he was so kind and attentive, and at Shirakawa-go, he even climbed to the top with us and took photos. He guided us all day with a warm smile and genuine effort! Thanks to him, this Nagoya trip left me with even better memories. I believe the guide makes up 90% or more of a tour's atmosphere! I'm so grateful to have met such a wonderful guide.

Mr.GU is a part time student but did his job very well. His English is remarkable and is open to recommend you anything good in Nagoya. The trip, however, was very rainy during the morning so our first stop at Takayama Old Town was very damp, but a rainy vintage town has its own charms, just not a lot of time to explore definitely but the ambience was good. Still, wished it didn't rain, it was a hassle. Here's a tip, before booking any tours better do it a week before after checking the weather, its better than booking early saving a few hundreds and not enjoy it completely, there's also a chance that promos are available again with even lower prices. On the way to Shirakawa-Go Village the rain completely stopped and it was just cloudy (perfect). The Village was really nice, definitely a world heritage. The lunch food included (we availed) was really good too that even my picky mother loved it. Over-all the experience was nice, weather check is a must.

The tour guide was very thoughtful, sending information about shops, restaurants, and souvenir stores at the attractions even before departure. During the trip, there was a longer driving time, so the guide also scheduled a 15-minute rest stop at a service area. Before arriving at each attraction, a brief cultural introduction was provided, and upon arrival, the guide gave a simple explanation to travelers before allowing free time.

Sister Geng's explanations and introductions along the way were very detailed, and her time management was excellent. Even with a delay due to travel, she still managed the situation very well. Highly recommend! 👍🏻
