Hotel Location: Very close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, only a 10-minute walk. There's a supermarket nearby, which is great for shopping. Convenience of Transportation: A bit far from the station, but convenient to take the bus. Cleanliness: Has utensils for cooking! The hotel is very clean. Service: Can help call a taxi, and the staff are very friendly 👍

The facility is beautiful but what really made the experience that much better was how helpful and kind the staff was. Rooms were clean and looked very nice. Location wise this is such a great spot to be for doing things in Kyoto I’d definitely come back again.

We arrived later than we expected that kaiseki dinner reservation already closed, too bad. Breakfast was customize to our allergen and preferences, thank you. Room was big and warm amids heavy snow storm and sleet outside. Pagoda was seen from our room. Staff was helpful, considerate, and understanding.

Modern aesthetics, clean and subtle decor. Loved having a coffee bar and fresh pastries for purchase in the morning right next to the lobby. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Laundry on site with dryer and can notify you via email when done. only a 5-6 minute walk from the subway station.

I was extremely satisfied with the kind and attentive service, the comfortable and luxurious rooms, the various programs offered on different days (Geiko and Maiko performances), and the delicious breakfast. I was very impressed with the consideration shown, such as upgrading the room and providing extra beds to accommodate the number of guests without even asking. In addition, they readily resolved requests that might have been difficult, such as asking for hospital guidance. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff once again. The location was also great, as I could easily walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Sannen-zaka, and Ninen-zaka and fully enjoy them.

The hotel is very close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. It's only a 10-minute walk up Kiyomizu-zaka, so you don't have to get up early and squeeze onto the bus, and you can better experience the atmosphere of the ancient capital. The rooms are excellent, spacious, comfortable, with all the amenities you could need, and even a Balmuda toaster oven! You can eat freshly baked bread for breakfast every day 🤣

While staff availability is limited, it is very easy to check in and out. The location is near Gion and thus you can take a walk around at early morning/late night.

Very close to 711 and family mart. Loved their roof top bar and hospitality.
