Tōdai-ji tours

From the moment I saw their name, I knew this was the person for us. I had a feeling our Kyoto trip would be really fun, and it certainly was! They were incredibly kind and explained everything in great detail, which made our trip twice as enjoyable. Not only did they provide thorough explanations of each spot, but they also shared insights into Japanese culture and their own life experiences, which kept things very engaging. There aren't many tours that include Nara, so I compared many options, and this tour exceeded all expectations – 100,000,000,000,000% satisfied! :) After the tour, they even recommended a great restaurant near Namba and offered to make a reservation if possible. We asked for a yakiniku restaurant, and the first bite was pure bliss... it was the best meat I've ever had in my life. It was truly, incredibly delicious!!! They also told us to contact them anytime if we needed other restaurant recommendations or had any questions or difficulties during our trip. That made me feel very reassured, and it was a happy tour where I felt like I had met a wonderful person.

It was a wonderful visit. The meeting point was easy to reach, the driver drove safely, and the guide was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Christmas park is beautiful, but the Great Buddha is even more so.

Tour Guide is good. Itinerary was great too. We get to go two main places within the day. However as it was Japan emperor birthday (public holiday), hence the asumenment park is pack with people and waiting time for each ride can went up to an hours. Given 3 hours there, our child manage to only play 3 ride. We bought the unlimited ride pass without knowing the crowd situation. For those whom like to join this, to avoide their holiday.

Mr Masaki driving skill and his vehicle is smooth from point to point. He gave good recommendations along the way. I like the flexibility given overall. Well done.

It was my first trip to Japan with just my son, so I was hesitant, but I ended up using this tour. I was very worried, but thanks to our guides Ruri and Woohee, who are fluent in both Korean and English, and the bus driver who drove us safely, I was able to have a fun tour with my son. The places they recommended at each tour point were also great. I plan to use the tour again next time. I hope I can see you again then~! Thank you!

First of all - Lucia was amazing! so friendly and kind. Apart for showing us the best places to visit and sharing knowledge of them, she also organised helpfull whatsapp messages including location in maps so visiting was a breeze! Uji exceeded my expectations, honestly. i thought the deer would be the best part!

This was our first walking tour ever with our toddler and infant, and it completely exceeded our expectations! Kimu made us feel fully supported, anticipating our needs without us asking. Kimu helped with our stroller, carried our backpack, found kid-friendly toilets and changing tables, and regularly checked in when our toddler got overwhelmed. It felt like traveling with someone who truly understands the challenges of parenting on-the-go. Thanks to his support, we were able to enjoy several stops that we definitely could not have navigated alone. Kimu showed us how to feed the deer safely and visit temples respectfully. He helped take precious photos of our family and guided us to calm, crowd-free spots. He also answered all our questions about the temples, sculptures, structures, and local history. If you’re traveling with young kids in Nara, this is the tour and the guide you want!

This was my first time doing a Kyoto tour, and I'm extremely satisfied! It was a tour that will leave many lasting memories. Our guide was incredibly kind, explained everything so well, and made it easy to understand, which I really appreciated. Unlike some other tours where guides can be a bit stiff, our guide was very friendly and even recommended nearby restaurants, which was wonderful. I feel like I learned a lot more about Japan through this tour! If I get the chance again, I'd love to meet Guide Oh Seok-bong again! It was such a fun and informative time! I highly recommend it!
