Passeios por Tōdai-ji

I was looking forward to the guide! Guide Oh Seok-bong! He was truly knowledgeable and witty, making the journey on the bus enjoyable with his interesting stories and insights into various aspects of Japanese culture. He passionately led the way, and I highly recommend GOGODAY Tour. I used them in Fukuoka and was satisfied again this time, so I plan to use them for my next trip as well. My father and son both had a great time. Thank you for helping us create wonderful memories on our family trip ❤️

Here are my honest and straightforward reviews of three major attractions in Shiga Prefecture (Shirakige Shrine, Biwako Terrace, La Collina Omihachiman). 1. Shirakige Shrine Perhaps because my expectations were high, I was left feeling a bit disappointed. The underwater torii gate is located across the road, making it dangerous to cross and difficult to appreciate properly from a distance. The shrine itself doesn't offer much to see, so it's suitable for a quick, passing visit. 2. Biwako Terrace This was definitely the highlight of my trip. The panoramic view of Lake Biwa from the terrace cafe was truly spectacular, and I was most satisfied with being able to relax and enjoy the open scenery. 3. La Collina Omihachiman There were too many people, and it was difficult to leisurely enjoy its unique atmosphere due to the crowds. The signature dessert, the confectionery, also tends to divide opinions on taste. However, the grass-roofed buildings and the garden's overall view were beautiful, making it an excellent spot for taking photos.

The tour was convenient because transportation and the itinerary were already organized for us. We were able to see many places without worrying about navigating trains and buses ourselves. The only downside was that the schedule felt a little rushed, so I would have loved more time at each location.

¡Me encantó este tour! Un día muy divertido y bien organizado explorando Nara, Uji y Kioto. Nuestro guía, Lee, fue amable, conocedor y hizo que toda la experiencia fuera muy agradable. Our guide was Lully. She was like a guardian angel who took good care of us by sharing the history & culture and showed us all the beautiful places patiently and gladly. Our driver was fantastic too! We truly had a wonderful time and appreciated the tour very much! We wouldn't have been able to see so much pleasantly on our own. Even my 19-year-old daughter, who is not fond of tours, said this one was great!

I had so much fun, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish! Since it’s a self-guided tour, there was plenty of room for exploring on our own while still having the flexibility to enjoy the trip at our own pace. Our guide, HaoWen, was also very thoughtful and gave us souvenirs at the end of the trip. Would definitely recommend this tour!

The whole day's itinerary was extremely rich, the bay was breathtakingly beautiful, and the experience was deeply impressive. We were able to see many seagulls following the boat. Amanohashidate was stunningly beautiful, and there were bicycles on the mountain available for photos. The seaside train saved a lot of trouble.
