Coisas para fazer em Tōdai-ji

We were the first group of customers with a 9:30 AM reservation, but we arrived at the shop at 9:20 AM. The ladies at the counter were super nice, spoke Chinese, and allowed us to start choosing kimonos and obi belts right away even though we were early, then go upstairs for styling. The Japanese ladies on the second floor who helped with dressing, makeup, and styling were also very friendly 😭🫴🏻. The kimonos available to choose from were all super beautiful, with different fabrics, making it incredibly hard to choose 😭❤️. The lady on the first floor also helped us match suitable obi belts and accessories, and her aesthetic sense was perfect 👍 (and the stylist on the second floor was super fast; my hair was done in no time! 💥). Overall, it was quick and professional, a great experience 👌✨. If I have the chance to visit Kiyomizu-dera again, I will definitely come back 💅💅✨✨✨

I was looking forward to the guide! Guide Oh Seok-bong! He was truly knowledgeable and witty, making the journey on the bus enjoyable with his interesting stories and insights into various aspects of Japanese culture. He passionately led the way, and I highly recommend GOGODAY Tour. I used them in Fukuoka and was satisfied again this time, so I plan to use them for my next trip as well. The rental store’s location is very convenient, just 4 mins by walk from Nara Kintetsu station. The staffs are professional and friendly. They have various kind of beautiful kimono and accessories. I booked kimono rental for couple plus 30 mins’ photograph shoot via Klook. The stylist is pretty efficient and kind. The photographer is good at guiding us to make nice postures. I’m satisfied with the service and pictures. The price is fair. It’s really worth for the money! I highly recommend people to experience the beauty of Nara with them ☺️❤️

Here are my honest and straightforward reviews of three major attractions in Shiga Prefecture (Shirakige Shrine, Biwako Terrace, La Collina Omihachiman). 1. Shirakige Shrine Perhaps because my expectations were high, I was left feeling a bit disappointed. The underwater torii gate is located across the road, making it dangerous to cross and difficult to appreciate properly from a distance. The shrine itself doesn't offer much to see, so it's suitable for a quick, passing visit. 2. Biwako Terrace This was definitely the highlight of my trip. The panoramic view of Lake Biwa from the terrace cafe was truly spectacular, and I was most satisfied with being able to relax and enjoy the open scenery. 3. La Collina Omihachiman There were too many people, and it was difficult to leisurely enjoy its unique atmosphere due to the crowds. The signature dessert, the confectionery, also tends to divide opinions on taste. However, the grass-roofed buildings and the garden's overall view were beautiful, making it an excellent spot for taking photos.

The tour was convenient because transportation and the itinerary were already organized for us. We were able to see many places without worrying about navigating trains and buses ourselves. The only downside was that the schedule felt a little rushed, so I would have loved more time at each location.

¡Me encantó este tour! Un día muy divertido y bien organizado explorando Nara, Uji y Kioto. Nuestro guía, Lee, fue amable, conocedor y hizo que toda la experiencia fuera muy agradable. Our guide was Lully. She was like a guardian angel who took good care of us by sharing the history & culture and showed us all the beautiful places patiently and gladly. Our driver was fantastic too! We truly had a wonderful time and appreciated the tour very much! We wouldn't have been able to see so much pleasantly on our own. Even my 19-year-old daughter, who is not fond of tours, said this one was great!
