This day tour was exceptional, and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our guide, Sophie, was wonderful—attentive and patient. The itinerary was well-planned, and she introduced Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Japanese culture with humor and wit, making her explanations equally engaging in both English and Chinese. Every place we visited was beautiful. This trip became the most memorable experience for our entire family! Highly recommended!

I joined this tour today and it was amazing! Yuma is incredibly knowledgeable and gave us historical context not just for the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, but also for Mt. Nantai, Lake Chūzenji, Kegon Falls, and Mt. Iroha. Her insights made every stop come alive. She switched effortlessly between English, Chinese, and Japanese to make sure everyone felt included. The pacing was ideal. We had plenty of time to explore each location and the whole itinerary was so well organized that wrapping up at the shrine felt like the perfect finale. Her restaurant recommendations were great too. Overall, a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tour and Yuma your guide.

Omgosh! This was a long drive, but Mr. Jhon was amazing. We had a random stop for Potty Break and found some unique snacks. Hakone is so beautiful and green in June. The weather was perfect and we saw Mt. Fuji so many times.

We took the Nikko tour with a guide. Yuma was very friendly; she showed us many beautiful places, and we had time to take photos. She explained the sites to us, and we were free to explore the Nikko area. We are very satisfied.

Had a wonderful day out with our guide Jorge and driver Ejima. Jorge was funny, witty and inter verse between English and Spanish. He was able to manage timing, the pace and provided a lot of tips, culture facts during the coach ride as well. Though the weather was wet and foggy, we still had a lot of fun. Food recommendation was good, and overall, this is a very recommended tour out of Tokyo.

This time, I arranged a day trip to Nikko Toshogu Shrine, and the overall experience is truly worth sharing! ✨ It takes about 2 hours to get there from Tokyo, and the scenery along the way transforms from urban to mountainous, which is very therapeutic. Toshogu Shrine itself was even more magnificent than I imagined, especially the intricate details of the "Sleeping Cat" and "Three Wise Monkeys" carvings. You can truly feel the impact of history and craftsmanship. The grounds are quite extensive, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. It takes about 2–3 hours to explore at a leisurely pace. The cedar forests along the path are spectacular, and the air is fresh. The overall atmosphere has a solemn yet peaceful feel. However, it can get quite crowded on weekends, so you might have to wait a bit to take photos. I suggest arriving early to avoid the crowds for a more pleasant experience. Overall, Nikko Toshogu Shrine is not just a tourist attraction; it's more like an immersive cultural and historical experience. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Japan for the first time or those who appreciate historical architecture. 👍

Present the Klook QR code at the ticket counter to receive physical tickets. This theme park is fantastic! I regret not renting a costume because it's the perfect place for magnificent photos, as the scenery truly immerses you in old Edo. The park staff are lovely. Don't miss the various shows, especially the Oiran procession (daily schedule available on the park's website). We spent the morning at Toshogu Temple, then from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the park, and that was more than enough time. A MUST-DO! Note: There's a free shuttle from Nikko JR Station. For the return trip, ask the park office to call a taxi to Kosagoe Station (1,500¥) and use your pass to return to Shimo Imaichi Station (you can take the Spacia X by reserving a Limited Express ticket via the TOBU line website – the standard ticket is included with the pass). This is the only place where you'll find customizable Daruma dolls.

A visit to Nikko is always enchanting; the Toshogu Shrine is truly a wonder to behold. It is absolutely an artistic masterpiece of Edo period craftsmanship.
