Hotels in Otaru

Nice historical building. Athough we were not staying at the South Wing, the hotel room was still spacious and decent. Breakfast was superb.

I would highly recommend this hotel as the hotel room looks new with very helpful staff. it's walking distance to the train station if you do not have heavy luggage on-hand. Also, it is walking distance to the main shopping area.

The hotel is located across from JR Otaru Station, just a 1-minute walk away. There is also a bus terminal nearby, making transportation very convenient. It is also not far from the Otaru Canal. The hotel itself is antique and charming, the rooms are comfortable, and there is also a large public bath. In addition, guests can enjoy a complimentary bowl of noodles for a late-night snack, as well as a variety of ice pops and Yakult that can be taken freely. Overall, it's a very good accommodation experience!

It's a 10-minute walk from the station, the location is easy to find, and the staff are super friendly. Before arriving, I wrote an email to let them know it was a birthday trip, and the hotel was very kind to ask if I wanted to upgrade, which was super considerate. The bathhouse is large and comfortable, and the overall feeling is great!

It's a large hotel right next to the Otaru Canal photo spot, just across the street. The top floor has a bar that I really liked. The rooms are spacious and have complete facilities. The only downside is that the rooms have a very old smell, musty and woody. It's hard to breathe when sleeping, like you can't get enough air. You can't open the windows to ventilate because they are all locked. I had to point the fan directly at the bed to breathe easier.

Stayed in two different rooms here - both were comfy but neither particularly clean. not gross or anything, but not clean. Read marks on the walls and carpet and furniture, etc. Otherwise great spot. Awesome onsen with view of canal and close to many good restaurants and activities. staff was beyond friendly and accommodating.

Hotel is Newlook Big and Good location near by Otaru canal. Roon is comfortable. I like Hotel’s bar at floor6 where nice view with canal and lovely staff .

This is the best hotel in Otaru Chikko for viewing the harbor. It's about a five-minute walk from the station, and downstairs you'll find restaurants, various shopping malls, and large supermarkets and department stores – so convenient! The harbor view at night is also fantastic! We booked a twin room again, and the room was much larger than hotels in Sapporo or other cities we visited this time. The mattress was a bit softer, so we slept more comfortably! Unfortunately, the soundproofing in the room was a little poor.

The rooms here are okay and decent, especially considering the price. The amenities are complete, and you can save a lot of money. Plus, there are staff available to help at all times.
