Train to Busan (Japan's Version): Check out this Haunted Shinkansen Going from Tokyo to Osaka

Japan has taken Halloween celebrations to an entirely new level this year with their first-ever Haunted Shinkansen - the country's premier zombie-themed bullet train experience.
For thrill-seekers and Halloween enthusiasts, this exclusive event offers a unique way to enjoy the spooky season while riding one of Japan’s most iconic transportation systems. Check out what went down on the spooky ride!

This eerie event, organized in partnership with Central Japan Railway and entertainment company, Kowagarasetai (translated to 'Scare Squad'), turned otherwise peaceful and smooth shinkansen journey into a zombie-infested ride, filled with actors dressed as zombies, scarily-good entertainment and more.

Passengers can look forward to an immersive, live-action role-play (LARP) scenario where a zombie outbreak occurs on the train. The actors, fully decked out in grotesque makeup and costumes will move throughout the train cars to scare and entertain passengers.
It's not all about the frights though! The Straits Times reported "To counterbalance the subdued horror, the tour was peppered with light-hearted performances by zombie cheerleaders, magicians and comedians, including a choreographed dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller (1982). Many aboard the zombie-infested train said the experience alone was worth the ticket price of up to 50,000 yen (S$440)."
