As a Taiwanese person, this is a place you must visit once in your lifetime! This Jade Mountain trip was not just a climb, but more like a spiritual baptism. Many thanks to the three guides from Mountain Secret Realm – they were not only professional navigators leading us up the mountain, but also the warmest companions on this journey. From the early morning departure at Paiyun Lodge to finally stepping onto the stone steps of the main peak, every step had their careful reminders and encouragement. In the difficult sections, they patiently guided our pace and took care of the weaker members, ensuring everyone could safely and confidently reach the summit. The professional arrangements, the guides' experience, and their warm personalities made the entire journey safe, smooth, and full of emotion. Standing on the main peak watching the sunrise, I only had one thought: thank you to this mountain for allowing me to recognize my own insignificance and resilience. The guide was professional and enthusiastically shared hiking experiences and tips, especially regarding the risks of high-altitude mountain climbing, which were explained to us in detail. The pace was adjusted according to the overall condition of the team, and the guide was very principled, which made us feel at ease. I hope to have the opportunity to climb other high mountains together in the future.

Our guide this time was Wu Xin-Yue (Qiang Qiang), a very enthusiastic person with great driving skills and a gentle demeanor. The accommodations weren't super luxurious, but they were adequate. Overall, the value for the price was pretty good. The itinerary to Smangus and Xinxing was well-paced, not too rushed. We encountered lots of dogs and cats along the way. This trip is suitable for those who want to experience something new, love cats and dogs, but aren't too concerned about the quality of the accommodations!

glad i still had the chance to do this activity despite the rain. they are also very helpful in taking photos specially that i was travelling alone. highly recommend you buy this. since it is only one colour, it is cheaper

Releasing a sky lantern in Shifen was the highlight of my trip! Writing my wishes and watching the colorful lantern gracefully float up into the sky was a truly beautiful and memorable moment. The atmosphere along the old tracks is fantastic. Highly recommend this unique cultural tradition!

Due to a mix-up, I only managed to buy the flowing noodles, but luckily, I could still purchase hand-pulled noodles on-site. The process was so much fun! The young noodle master was incredibly kind, documenting our entire noodle-pulling experience, capturing all the wonderful moments. He even helped us find the best angles for photos! When it was time for the flowing noodles, it was really enjoyable. They had three types of noodles: ultra-thin noodles, red yeast noodles, and green tea noodles. Dipping them in their soy sauce and eating them was delicious, even more so with chili! 😍 The young master even gave us kimchi to pair with it. I had so much fun on this trip! The osmanthus ice cream was also delicious! Once the noodles are made and dried, you can take them home to eat, and they are truly delicious!

We had the sweetest experience at nimonjewelry in Taiwan ✨ We joined a ring-making workshop, and it honestly felt magical. The lovely staff member who helped us was so kind and gentle, making the whole process feel warm and personal. The atmosphere in the studio was cozy, creative, and full of good vibes.

It just a blessing card to write and hang at the temple. And a paper lantern for us to bring home. However the view from the temple is quite nice.
