New Taipei | Hsu Family Noodle | Family Experience: Flowing Noodles & Handmade Noodles & Scallion Pancake DIY

Due to a mix-up, I only managed to buy the flowing noodles, but luckily, I could still purchase hand-pulled noodles on-site. The process was so much fun! The young noodle master was incredibly kind, documenting our entire noodle-pulling experience, capturing all the wonderful moments. He even helped us find the best angles for photos! When it was time for the flowing noodles, it was really enjoyable. They had three types of noodles: ultra-thin noodles, red yeast noodles, and green tea noodles. Dipping them in their soy sauce and eating them was delicious, even more so with chili! 😍 The young master even gave us kimchi to pair with it. I had so much fun on this trip! The osmanthus ice cream was also delicious! Once the noodles are made and dried, you can take them home to eat, and they are truly delicious!

Super fun experience! Originally I just wanted to eat the lava noodles, but later I found out that there was also a noodle-making experience so I signed up for it. The staff were super cute and patient in explaining, and they were also great at taking photos! They taught us how to pose and hold the noodles, which was super professional. The pictures taken with the original camera looked great. Jumping rope with noodles was also super fun. It was a super unforgettable experience. In the end, you can even take the noodles you made home! The flowing water surface is also super fun. It really challenges your hand speed haha. It is a super comfortable and fresh experience. The whole trip only took about an hour and a half, but it felt super fulfilling! Highly recommended to everyone👍🏻👍🏻

The DIY noodle-making activity is a lot of fun! The staff first explains the process of making handmade noodles and introduces nearby attractions. Then, we get to experience pulling the noodles, and they help us take lots of photos, even giving us professional pose guidance 😆😆. The flowing noodles are also exciting! They flow down very fast, so it's nerve-wracking trying to catch them 🤣. But don't worry, any noodles that make it to the end of the bamboo trough can still be eaten. They taste even better with the bonito soy sauce and homemade chili! Finally, you can even take home the handmade noodles you made. Highly recommend coming here when you visit Shiding!

The guide was very dedicated and you can learn a lot, including why it's located so deep in the mountains 😂. I highly recommend taking children, you can make noodles together, learn how they are made, and take them home to cook. Afterwards, you can also taste the flowing noodles, so you get to eat and take something home.

The service is good. Although there were many guests on the day of the event and it was a holiday, the on-site staff was still very enthusiastic. Help us take pictures, the water on the water can be very filling, and the overall activity is satisfying.

I went with a lot of people. Two people have to pull the noodle thread together to pull it. But basically, children don’t have the patience to finish it. It’s better to need their parents to accompany them. It’s fun to eat the noodles.
