—Itinerary Introduction—

• Yoro Valley & Awamata Falls: One of Japan’s Top 100 Autumn Foliage Spots Due to its unique topography and climate, Yoro Valley’s autumn foliage season arrives later than other regions. From late November to early December, you can still enjoy the vibrant red leaves covering the mountains, making it perfect for capturing the “late autumn foliage scenery.” As one of the most famous late-autumn foliage viewing spots in the Kanto region, it features well-maintained walking trails, allowing you to easily stroll through the beautiful autumn scenery. Awamata Falls, also known as “Yoro Falls,” is approximately 30 meters high and 100 meters wide, and its cascading waters reflect the vibrant autumn leaves of the valley. The walking path is built close to the waterfall, allowing you to experience the magnificent combination of “cascading waterfalls + autumn foliage” up close.
• Kominato Railway – Nostalgic Countryside Train The Kominato Railway is a local, nostalgic train that runs from Goi Station in Ichihara, Chiba, to Kazusa-nakano Station in Otaki Town, allowing you to experience the slow-paced, rural atmosphere. During the train ride, the scenery outside the window is filled with original landscapes of fields, hills, and streams. In autumn, you can also enjoy the colorful autumn leaves, while in winter, the tranquil beauty of the rural landscape is on display. When the train stops at Kazusa-Kubo Station, you can see a towering and spectacular giant ginkgo tree, which, along with the surrounding rural scenery, has become the most classic photo spot along the train line. *Please note that the blooming time of the ginkgo tree is difficult to predict, and you may not be able to see it in full bloom.
• Tokyo German Village Winter Illumination Tokyo German Village hosts a super-large-scale illumination show every autumn and winter, which has been designated as a “Japan Night View Heritage Site.” The world of light is constructed from over 3 million light bulbs, and there is a new theme every year! Last year’s theme was “Gulliver’s Light Travels.”
