Nestled in the towering Roppongi Hills, it's a quiet oasis in the bustling city. There are six seats at the counter and a private dining area. The head chef seems very kind and humble. He chatted well with the Japanese guests, and he even spoke to me a little, also introducing the dishes in English. If I spoke the language, I would have liked to chat with him more about the food. The male server was very polite, greeting us multiple times when clearing the dishes XD. This time, the dishes were presented in an autumnal style. Crab, somen noodles, tempura, sashimi, abalone, you name it! It was traditional but with some different textures, decorated with ginkgo leaves and maple leaves (even the soup had ginkgo-shaped food XD, and the taste was quite good, recommended! The white creamy soup with sea urchin mentioned potato and had a milky flavor, which was quite amazing and delicious. Crab dishes are presented like this in several restaurants, with perilla leaves underneath. Somen noodles, featuring fish roe and caviar. Tempura platter: salmon roe, the white stuff on the rice stalks looks like popcorn, and you can eat it! I don't know how they made it. The tempura included sweet potato, codfish? and milt. The rice stalk presentation was amazing! Soup (fish balls, tofu, shrimp, greens, mushrooms, and a processed ginkgo food). Tuna belly hand roll. Yellowtail with sweet potato and dried small fish. Clam shell with sea urchin, abalone, and a round meatball? (like processed food) featuring truffle. Fillet beef 50g with soy sauce, salt, and scallion soy sauce. The meat was very tender and delicious. Ginkgo mushroom kamameshi (kettle rice) and miso soup. Warakabi mochi (bracken starch mochi).
First Kaiseki experience! the food was amazing and the chef and staff were very respectful. I came in solo and I was about 15 min late with my reservation because I got a little lost on the way and they still took me in. Every dish explained to me briefly in English. Loved it! :)
Recommended by a friend, food and environment are superb. Will definitely come back for next time. Booked through klook was easy.
The food is fresh, delicious and exquisite, and the presentation is beautiful. There is no display on the menu. You only know the food when it is delivered to you, as if it was served by a chef. There is a surprise, but it is a bit expensive. The clerk will introduce the dishes in simple English, and the service is very good without rushing. Although we were the only two traveling together, we arranged a private room, which was quiet and comfortable, and we enjoyed an unforgettable lunch.
The service is very good. They will know in advance whether the customer has food allergies, and will explain the ingredients and how to make each dish carefully. The taste is really delicious, respect the taste of the ingredients themselves, and use a very simple cooking method to create a layered taste. The ingredients are fresh and delicious! Worth a try!
Arranged seating in a 2-person room, serving a nine-course Kaiseki meal. There is a space between each course, and it definitely takes 2 hours to eat, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The service attitude is excellent, with detailed introductions to each course.
Sit at the bar and be served by the head chef and senior uncle. The service is also very new and friendly. I will want to go there again. Only four people can sit comfortably. I was celebrating my 19th wedding anniversary with my husband, and two Japanese ladies were celebrating their birthdays. The food service environment and atmosphere are very beautiful.
great dish. recommended. we had the dinner one. u get to puck ur own dessert
It's worth going to eat. The service staff are very attentive. Although they don't understand the language, they use a translator to communicate. I'm very happy. After the meal, I went to the front desk to thank the chef. Welcome to Taiwan. I'm in a happy mood. I will definitely go there again next time.
The experienced chef was very attentive and explained to us the ingredients of each dish and how to enjoy each dish in English. The butler also took very considerate care of us. It is worth making an appointment and spending time to enjoy it.
