Inside the “Blue Cave,” the light changes that enter the cave create a rich and varied blue color throughout the day. The shades that appear from morning to night are never the same, so you can fully enjoy the beautiful and healing space. The ocean outside the cave is home to many colorful and approachable tropical fish, making it a marine activity spot worth visiting on the main island of Okinawa. Snorkeling package tours are taught in small groups, without combining with other guests, and are accompanied by professional instructors throughout the process. You can also feed cute tropical fish!

I traveled to Okinawa alone and went on a discovery dive! I was able to watch the safety video in Korean, and I was assigned a female buddy who mostly explained things in English, so there were no communication issues! The weather was great, so there was no problem entering the Blue Cave. Thank you to my buddy for leading the way and taking so many photos; I really appreciate it! Thank you for today! It was a pleasure diving with you.
The Japanese-Australian coach is very dedicated! Although they can't speak Chinese, they use a tablet to play Chinese instructional videos to help tourists understand the diving precautions. After watching the video, they also teach all the gestures and items again in English. They use a GoPro to help take photos and videos. It's helpful if you know some English to aid communication. Overall, a very enjoyable experience! Also, a reminder that the showers, lockers, and hair dryers at the Blue Cave all require cash payment! Be sure to bring several ¥100 coins, otherwise you won't be able to shower after getting out of the water.
This was an incredible experience I couldn’t recommend more. This scuba dive was perfect even with it being my first time. The instructor was very thorough with their instructions, patient with me throughout the dive, attentive of me, and guided me through an incredible trip underwater. The pathing of our course was gorgeous and the cave itself was surreal to be diving in. Thanks to this specific instructor, I had such a pleasant experience in Blue Cave.
Many thanks to my coach. Very responsible, high sense of security, detailed instructions. Good experience overall, except that the weather on the day of diving was not very good and the water was a bit turbid.
Very good experience, the guide is very nice and even took a lot of pictures/videos! The spot was amazing but the best part was definitely the fish feeding ! Had a lot of fun thank you 😊 🫶
Cave access is restricted on windy days. However, we move to a safe spot to proceed with the experience, which is also very satisfying. You can feed the fish, which is fun, and learn how to make donuts underwater. In particular, the instructor is very good at teaching and is friendly, so even though it was my first time diving, I was able to follow without any problems, and you can book without worry. Instructor: The diving instructor is very professional, and it feels like they would quickly rescue you even if you drifted away. They have a lifeguard certification. They are good at English, so there are no communication problems at all. Experience: When moving to the safe zone, you get to choose between two places: a narrow and deep place or a wide and shallow place. I only tried the wide place, and it takes quite a bit of stamina to go around it. If you are not in good shape, choose the deep place; if you are in good shape, choose the wide place. Equipment: The oxygen tank is heavier than I thought.
This booking truly exceeded expectations, the best safety net choice for extroverted people. I only booked the activity for the next morning at 5 PM the day before, and I brought my child who just turned six. The key is that we were also late... I'm really sorry, but the instructor was a healthy, tanned young woman. At first, I thought she had a poker face, but she became increasingly nice, very, very nice, and her smile was especially beautiful. She took many photos for us and took great care of my child throughout the whole experience. Most importantly, she successfully taught my child to snorkel and enjoy the ocean. I am really grateful to her.
I originally made a reservation with another company, but it was immediately canceled. I made a last-minute reservation here the day before, and they accepted it right away. On the day, the wind was blowing so hard that I thought, "I won't be able to go to the Blue Cave," and sure enough, I couldn't. However, Kae-chan here recommended a great spot near the Churaumi Aquarium, and we went there together and had a great time snorkeling and even visited the aquarium. Thank you for guiding us so well, even though it was just my husband and me, and for taking us so far. Thank you, Kae-chan~ The sea was really beautiful.♥️
Equipment: The equipment overall is very complete, but you need to prepare your own swimsuit; you don't really need anything else (long-haired girls can prepare a hairband like I did, so it doesn't block their eyes). Instructor: The instructor is a Japanese girl, and her overall explanation is very clear (there are Chinese videos). If your English is at a level where you can have everyday conversations, you basically don't have to worry about communication. She constantly confirmed my safety and comfort underwater, very responsible! Experience: Underwater is very dreamy, the reefs are like mountains in the sea. The light from the Blue Grotto casts a beam of azure light, and schools of fish dance in between. As my first scuba dive, I think the Blue Grotto is really beginner-friendly while also maximizing the experience, highly recommended!
It's a pity we couldn't go to the Blue Grotto... because the waves were too big. I hope I can go to the Blue Grotto smoothly next time... By the way, the Japanese instructors also speak simple English, so foreign tourists don't have to worry too much.
