Okinawa: Blue Cave Diving & Snorkeling Experience

This was a very enjoyable diving experience! I saw many different kinds of marine life underwater. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the instructor for helping and taking care of me, a timid person! All the instructors on this team are dedicated to teaching and looking after us. The diving experience was amazing. The water was very blue and clear with lots of tropical fish, great visibility, and it wasn't too deep. The only thing was that the air tanks were a bit heavy, around 15 kg, so it takes a little bit of physical effort before getting into the water. Before the trip, Instructor Kelvin explained everything very patiently (the coaching team seems to be from Taiwan, so they speak Chinese, and everyone is very friendly). They basically covered all the situations we might encounter. During the dive, they kept holding our hands, which made us feel very secure. There was also a fish-feeding part, and the whole experience felt like being inside an aquarium—it was truly awesome. He also took a lot of photos and videos for us (the videos are an optional purchase, but I highly recommend getting them, it's totally worth it).

First time diving experience👍 Coach Peng Peng is excellent. He explained everything carefully and took great care of our safety in the water, making this experience very enjoyable for us. Before starting, we practiced in the shallow water near the shore and then swam into the cave. This is the second time on this trip we've gone snorkeling with the same company. The instructor was excellent and took us to see many different fish. It was a great experience, highly recommended!

great experience - very helpful guide who took a lot of pics and videos for us during the snorkel - videos at an extra charge of 3000 yen but was well worth it! good for beginners to experience snorkelling whilst enjoying the blue cave.

That's great! The Chinese-speaking instructor from Taiwan was very polite. Our instructor was Japanese and we could communicate basically. I compared many options and finally chose this one. I think snorkeling is enough for the Blue Cave, as scuba diving doesn't go very deep anyway. It's mainly about seeing the Blue Cave. The fish were very friendly, but the water quality was just average and the coral wasn't very good, mainly because there were too many people.

The instructors are from Taiwan and speak Mandarin, so we communicated well. The instructors had a great sense of humor, occasionally throwing in a few phrases in Cantonese, which was hilarious. I loved this experience.

Did not manage to go into Blue Cave due to windy weather sadly :( However, we got directed to a beach nearby with alot of lively corals and there were a huge variety of fishes! It surpassed my expectations in Okinawa compared to snorkeling in Bali & Phucket where the coral reefs were bleached in other countries. Tour guide was friendly too and helped took alot of photos & videos (which you will need to pay 3000yen for video).

The sea in May was a bit cold, which made us a little nervous; however, the coach's professional experience helped us relax and fully enjoy the beautiful seascape and stunning caves.
