It was a great experience, my first time scuba diving. I was a little worried at first, but with the coach's careful guidance and care, there were no problems at all, it was a lot of fun! There is a free parking lot near the meeting point, making parking convenient. The staff speaks English and Mandarin, so communication is not a problem. You don't need to bring an underwater camera, you can rent one there. The camera with SD card is ¥3000/session. They constantly help take photos and videos throughout the entire experience, and the SD card is given to you after you're done. In the water, the instructor leads the dive the whole time and is very professional. I would come back again if I have the chance!!!
Due to the large waves, we couldn't enter the Blue Cave, so we could only go to the beach near Onna Village. Hopefully, we'll have a chance to enter the Blue Cave next time. It was our first time diving 🤿, so we were inevitably nervous, but the instructor patiently taught us how to breathe with the oxygen tank. However, because the breathing instruction took some time, the actual time spent diving in the sea wasn't very long. The entire trip was 1 hour (including instruction + diving).
The weather was great that day, the sky was blue and the cave was blue. Although the leader did not speak Chinese, he worked very hard to explain to us and was very patient. It is highly recommended to bring a memory card, they will provide a camera that can be used in the water. You can take pictures of a bunch of beautiful fish, people, etc. There is a shower area there, but you have to bring your own shower gel and so on. Overall, the experience is very good.
Really great services of the diving. The overall diving experiences is really fun. The helper is very helpful.
overall nice experience! the blue cave wasn’t as pretty as i’ve seen from the photos from the other reviews (but probs it was too sunny and was hard to see haha) still a nice trip and glad that i’ve went xd
we booked a morning session at 8ish and would recommend to arrive early as we were late so the introduction is too short . we went to the dive spot by a boat . the guide was nice . the place provided hot water for showers and changing room . well equipped. just the diving time is around 20-30 mins kinda short . would love to do diving again !
It rained before the trip but it didn't affect the schedule. We gathered at the designated place half an hour before the trip. You can rent a GoPro (including memory card) for 3,500 yen. Video recording will look better than taking pictures. Although this time it was a Japanese instructor, there were people speaking Chinese on site. The coach recommends it to everyone
A very good diving experience, very suitable for novices. The diving shop has Chinese-speaking clerks who can translate for us. We purchased a package that included a GoPro camera, and the instructor kept helping us take photos and videos underwater. It was a very good experience, but the time was relatively short.
I think this is a must-do experience if you go to Okinawa. I was impressed by the fish passing in front of my eyes and the clean and blue sea water creating a superb view.
Due to weather conditions, we are unable to go to the Blue Grotto. We will notify you by letter and line and we will change our snorkeling activities to other sea areas. We will go to the Blue Grotto next time if we have a chance. The store will provide diving equipment. It is recommended to bring your own: 1. Slippers (if you don’t bring them, slippers on site are very expensive and painful to wear) 2. Swimsuit (worn inside) 3. SD card 4. It is recommended that you don’t need to bring your own camera and go to the site. Rent, because the instructor won’t help take pictures with his own camera 5. This time the time was changed due to the weather, but overall I was very happy
